If You are realy an Australian then you know ther is a magazine called 'The Buletin" and so why don't you read the articles on Telectronics or don't you have the sincerity to follow up on your coments on citing it? Surely you should take some responsibility to read the material and not to simply accept heresay from conspirators intent on preserving the Trainor bulshit. Read the book 'Outside the Square ' and not that nothing was said about Trainor purchasing shares in Telectronics in 1967. In 1967 telectronics had developed 7 pacemakers 3 heart monitors and 3 defids and was leading the world with pacemakr innovations, Trainor and his biographor failed to emntion that! The Clunies Ross Foundation were duped by jim and he went around telling people that he founded the pacemaker industry. He did not and that is why 'Telectronics the Early Years was written and alos to give recognition to Wickham a detail he fails to acknowledge. (Veritas res ipso locquitor)

Thank you for your help on this article. Wikibreak or no, you are the only other non-combatant besides me to do any work on it. Thanks—[[User:WAvegetarian|WAvegetarian]]•[[User talk:WAvegetarian|(talk)]] 20:46, 3 December 2006 (UTC)

:I completely understand not wanting to get involved. I tried stepping into this dispute about 10 months ago and wasn't able help. Thanks for helping with the references, although many of them seem to be not easily verifiable or verifiably biased, i.e. written by the disputants.

I completely understand not wanting to get involved. I tried stepping into this dispute about 10 months ago and wasn't able help. Thanks for helping with the references, although many of them seem to be not easily verifiable or verifiably biased, i.e. written by the disputants.
I really hate to simply take the side of the person who isn't cursing based solely on that fact, but it's getting to the point where I'm hard pressed to feel like doing anything else. If there is another outburst I will likely contact the ISP and sprotect the article again as it has devolved beyond a content dispute at this point.—WAvegetarian(talk) 02:22, 4 December 2006 (UTC)[reply]
I just wanted to tell you that I'm not trying to be difficult with this source thing. It's just that I've seen first hand how biased Chris Gray is, not that I would necessarily be any different. It all just seems to run afoul of WP:COI#Close relationships.—WAvegetarian(talk) 13:55, 4 December 2006 (UTC)[reply]
I agree with you on all points. Thanks for the help you've given. Come the end of the semester (Christmas) I will have more time to put into the article and will contact those admins you pointed me to. Thanks again.—WAvegetarian(talk) 22:24, 4 December 2006 (UTC)[reply]
Thank you for your work on the Discussion page, much appreciated, as narrowing the matter to compliance with the rules of Wikipedia is the only way to reach conclusion. From Jenny & me best wishes to you and yours for a happy Christmas and 2007.Geoffrey Wickham 06:01, 11 December 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Well isn't that interesting, you can all have a happy Christmas knowing that you have helped wickingham destroy Chris Gray and Noel Gray from the coments that Wickapedia have published about "fantacies" told about Telectronics. We shall see about that. Might I say that you have been biased and have I believe disregarded the refferences provided. All published material from the time (1960-78) suports the year 1963 and you would do well to alter the entry in accordance with them. Since there is no way you have to verify the references except to take the word of the anonimous editors I suggest that the Wickapedia establish a procedure for sourcing and reading all publications before you allow people to make statements that can be defatory or slanderous. ( Intelegent observer)—The preceding unsigned comment was added by 203.217.66.222 (talkcontribs).

I'm not entirely sure how Chris Gray has been destroyed. After all, there is no article on him and he is not mentioned in the article Telectronics. As for destroying Noel Gray, even if it is fallacious, I don't see how sharing the credit for incorporating, as the intro no longer says anything about founding, Telectronics could possibly ruin him. I urge you to take a deep breath and consider what you are writing before you are typing. I am taking you at your word that you are an intelligent reader, which means that you were writing quite hurriedly and heatedly to misspell references, anonymous, defamatory, and intelligent. I would also like to alert you to the fact that you have been habitually misspelling Wikipedia. It derives from the Hawaiian "wiki wiki" and does not contain the letter c. (Apologies Golden Wattle for posting this here as well as on the IP's talk page. I just think it unlikely that the editor will ever see it there since he is dynamic. Please feel free to delete this post if you mind its presence.)—WAvegetarian(talk) 00:55, 12 December 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Greetings!

Season's Greetings from CrazyInSane! How have you been? I see you're taking a wikibreak as well! Wow, I haven't been here since August and it's great! Just wanted to let you know I'm back until 25 December, and that I look forward to working with you during this period of time if you're available. I've already made some edits, moving Christmastime greetings to Winter holiday greetings, and am looking forward to getting in the editing mood this holiday season!. Anyways, if you don't respond in time then have a Merry Christmas, and a great New Year 2007!. — `CRAZY`(lN)`SANE` [discl.] 05:02, 6 December 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Regarding you message on my talk page

As you know, WP:PROD says "please consider", which implies that it is not nesscary. That said, sometimes I do leave notices on peoples pages when PRODing and sometimes I don't. Since that is not a requirement, I don't always consider leaving the templated message. Cheers! -- moe.RON Let's talk | done 19:03, 6 December 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Thank you for your suggestion. I will take it into consideration in the future. Cheers again! -- moe.RON Let's talk | done 19:11, 6 December 2006 (UTC)[reply]

AfD Nomination: Tontine Group

I've nominated the article Tontine Group for deletion under the Articles for deletion process. We appreciate your contributions, but in this particular case I do not feel that Tontine Group satisfies Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion. I have explained why in the nomination space (see What Wikipedia is not and Deletion policy). Your opinions on the matter are welcome; please participate in the discussion by adding your comments at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Tontine Group. Don't forget to add four tildes (~~~~) at the end of each of your comments to sign them. You are free to edit the content of Tontine Group during the discussion, but please do not remove the "Articles for Deletion" template (the box at the top). Doing so will not end the discussion. —The preceding unsigned comment was added by Moeron (talkcontribs) 19:10, 6 December 2006 (UTC).[reply]

Appears viable and is now started - please excuse any rough patches in the start - any suggestions would be appreciated! SatuSuro 01:15, 7 December 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks for your welcome, but I'm not an Australian

Thank you for your welcome; however, I'm not Australian. I merely contributed to several articles with Australian themes. Sono un italiano. Saluti, Carmela Soprano 08:35, 7 December 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Doing something about the ridiculous date autoformatting/linking mess

Dear GW—you may be interested in putting your name to, or at least commenting on this new push to get the developers to create a parallel syntax that separates autoformatting and linking functions. IMV, it would go a long way towards fixing the untidy blueing of trivial chronological items, and would probably calm the nastiness between the anti- and pro-linking factions in the project. The proposal is to retain the existing function, to reduce the risk of objection from pro-linkers. Tony 05:19, 10 December 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Second opinion sought / Donkey show

Apologies for my late reply. Been busy around the home of late cleaning up the place ready for the bushfire season (we live on a 10acre block, which attracts all kind of junk from the winds). I wanted to give this topic a good look into (for research's sake of course, nothing more :) and took a little longer to reply than usual. Sorry about that. I don't enter that area of the encyclopedia often, but I'm not squeamish when it comes to most topics. It seems the delay in my providing a reply to you has settled the disagreements there, and the article appears to be referenced far better than it was. Is that a correct understanding? Feel free to correct me if I'm wrong now that I'm about again on a more regular basis and can give most matters full attention. -- Longhair\talk 01:07, 11 December 2006 (UTC)[reply]
