From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Good night, my name is Wouter Geert Jacob van der Horst (Dutch pronunciation: [ˈʋɑu̯tər ɣeːrt ˈjaː.kɔp vɑn dɛr ɦɔrst]; W.G.J. for short). I am 23 year old MA graduate of International Relations and International Organization at the beautiful top-100 University of Groningen in the north of the Netherlands.

I have been active on the Dutch Wikipedia for a long time (approximately 5 years), but have recently shifted my attention to the English Wikipedia. Here you will mainly find me creating and editing articles around the themes of geography and politics, although a bit of music and beer are also featured occasionally.

I'm currently mainly busy creating articles about places from all over the world, mainly hamlets and villages. I am also currently writing articles within WikiProject Women in Red, specifically covering female politicians from the Netherlands. As you might see on my list of articles created, I am much more of a creator than an editor.

Anyway, do not hesitate and feel free to send me a message about anything!

The Dutch Barnstar of National Merit
For adding some fifty well presented articles about villages in the Netherlands over the past few weeks. An impressive achievement.--Ipigott (talk) 09:27, 21 September 2023 (UTC)
