Nice article - sorry I stepped into your way as you were working on it. :-) Happy editing! --Ser Amantio di NicolaoChe dicono a Signa?Lo dicono a Signa. 16:54, 22 February 2018 (UTC)
Hi - no worries, thanks for working on it. Always hard to know if someone else is working on something at the same time. Claire 75 (talk) 17:28, 22 February 2018 (UTC)
- Also...I have to head into a meeting right now, but in case it's useful to you I just created Category:Women classical scholars. Have fun! :-) --Ser Amantio di NicolaoChe dicono a Signa?Lo dicono a Signa. 17:42, 22 February 2018 (UTC)
Women in Red
Hi there, Claire, and welcome to to Women in Red. It looks as if we could collaborate on your women classicists project. You might also be interested in our Ten Simple Rules for Creating Women's Biographies. Let me know if ever you need any help or experience any problems. Happy editing!--Ipigott (talk) 17:30, 13 March 2018 (UTC)
- Thanks Ipigott :) -it would be good to collaborate. I'm a bit snowed under right now with PhD work but am going to speak at a Medieval Women editathon on 28 March (https://medievalwomenwiki.wordpress.com/wikithon/). This will also operate as WCCs usual monthly editing burst that our eds take place in online, as well as a couple of our project members coming on the day-have suggested WCC eds look at pages with a late antiquity focus or perhaps women working early in the renaissance, or in classics and medieval fields to keep within the Medieval Women focus. It would be lovely if any of the Women in Red project eds wanted to sign up and come (I think there are still places) or turn up online on the day?Claire 75 (talk) 15:16, 16 March 2018 (UTC)

A brownie for you!
Thanks for the 'thank you' you sent me for an edit I made to Helen Maria Chesnutt. I was curious about who would send out a TY re: her, and took a look at your profile. I haven't had a chance to properly go through it yet, but given your interest, you might find the article on Merze Tate of interest to you. Gene Wilson (talk) 04:26, 28 March 2018 (UTC) |

DYK for Grace Macurdy
On 12 August 2018, Did you know was updated with a fact from the article Grace Macurdy, which you recently nominated. The fact was ... that Grace Macurdy shaped the field of classics by pulling together both material and textual evidence as sources in her studies of individual women? The nomination discussion and review may be seen at Template:Did you know nominations/Grace Macurdy. You are welcome to check how many page hits the article got while on the front page (here's how, daily totals), and it may be added to the statistics page if the total is over 5,000. Finally, if you know of an interesting fact from another recently created article, then please feel free to suggest it on the Did you know talk page. |

Precious
"ensuring that important contributions by women are not omitted"
Thank you for quality articles about women in classics, such as Amice Calverley in 2013, Kate Cooper in 2017 and Dorothy Charlesworth in 2018, among others, for co-founding and caring for Wikipedia:Women's Classical Committee, for showcasing the work of others, - Claire, you are an awesome Wikipedian!
--Gerda Arendt (talk) 14:34, 13 August 2018 (UTC)
- Blushes* thank you very much Gerda Arendt and for all your help with the DYK. You are an excellent Wikipedian yourself.

ArbCom 2018 election voter message
Hello, Claire 75. Voting in the 2018 Arbitration Committee elections is now open until 23.59 on Sunday, 3 December. All users who registered an account before Sunday, 28 October 2018, made at least 150 mainspace edits before Thursday, 1 November 2018 and are not currently blocked are eligible to vote. Users with alternate accounts may only vote once.
The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to impose binding solutions to disputes between editors, primarily for serious conduct disputes the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the authority to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail.
If you wish to participate in the 2018 election, please review the candidates and submit your choices on the voting page. MediaWiki message delivery (talk) 18:42, 19 November 2018 (UTC)
