Astrotricha is a genus of shrubs in the ivy family Araliaceae endemic to Australia. It contains about 20 described species and a number of undescribed ones, and the genus is mostly confined to Victoria, New South Wales and Queensland with one species found in Western Australia.[3]
Description
[edit]Plants in this genus are erect shrubs that are either single-stemmed (subgenus Hexocenia) or bushy (subgenus Astrotricha). Leaves are often cordate and usually laneolate or linear, and often covered in a dense indumentum. Inflorescences are usually terminal panicles composed of umbels.[3][4][5]
