Haplinis inexacta is a species of sheet weaver spider endemic to New Zealand.[1]
Taxonomy
[edit]This species was described as Mynoglenes inexacta in 1979 by A.D Blest from male and female specimens.[1] It was most recently revised in 2002, in which it was moved to the Haplinis genus.[2] The holotype is stored in Otago Museum.[1]
Description
[edit]The male is recorded at 3.17mm in length whereas the female is 3.83mm.[1]
Distribution
[edit]This species is only known from the South Island of New Zealand.[2]
Conservation status
[edit]Under the New Zealand Threat Classification System, this species is listed as "Not Threatened".[3]
