Oleszna Podgórska [ɔˈlɛʂna pɔdˈɡurska] (German: Krummöls) is a village in the administrative district of Gmina Lubomierz, within Lwówek Śląski County, Lower Silesian Voivodeship, in south-western Poland.[1]

It lies approximately 5 kilometres (3 mi) north-west of Lubomierz, 11 kilometres (7 mi) south-west of Lwówek Śląski, and 110 kilometres (68 mi) west of the regional capital Wrocław.

History

[edit]

German sources report that after Soviet occupation of the village, more and more Polish arrived. In June 1945, residents were ordered to leave their home, but many eventually returned. However, in June 1946, all Germans had to leave their home village forever.[2]
