  • 16:2716:27, 20 April 2023 diff hist +17 Lolita Nothing in the novel indicates that Humbert is an unreliable narrator in the normal sence. In fact, he seems to do his best to tell the story as he remembers it, and is also telling when he is unsure whether certain incidents really happened. And I can't find a single place where the reader is told that Humbert lies. So if this is an unreliable narrator, then *all* novels written from 1st person perspective is about an "unreliable narrator". Tags: Reverted Mobile edit Mobile web edit
