Voice cast
[edit]How should we do with the voice cast information? Use IMDb or waiting for updates? Egon Eagle (talk) 17:29, 12 July 2012 (UTC)
- Find a source that fits WP:RELIABLE, and it is acceptable. I would suggest looking at gaming news sites like IGN and Gamespot, the developer's website or the official website of the game. Prisonermonkeys (talk) 07:51, 19 August 2012 (UTC)
- I think I read somewhere Daniel Craig was returning to voice Bond. He gave his likeness as we saw in the trailer. Can't remember where I read it though. We'll find out soon enough anyway as its released soon.Charlr6 (talk) 16:27, 27 September 2012 (UTC)
- I am tempted to remove Daniel Craig as voicing Bond: though numerous articles have suggested (or even stated) this to be the case, Activision have so far only stated that Daniel Craig will "play" Bond in Legends, nothing more. In-box thinker (talk) 16:56, 28 September 2012 (UTC)
- 'Play' would imply that he is playing the character. Just like they would say he is 'playing Bond in Skyfall once again'. I think if only his likeness was used and not voice they would say. Charlr6 (talk) 22:58, 29 September 2012 (UTC)
- According to the IGN review: "007 Legends doesn't even sound like a good idea on paper, and it's presented in such a half-hearted manner. Why force Daniel Craig's likeness into each of the five previous generations of Bond, if you're not even going to bother to get his voice? (And his soundalike is atrocious.)"[1] Chicken Wing (talk) 05:12, 24 October 2012 (UTC)
- Thats just an IGN review. I played Blood Stone a couple of weeks ago and my friend was round and commenting saying that it doesn't sound like Craig. When it actually was. But even if for some reason Craig didn't return to voice Bond in this game, we couldn't just class a IGN review as good enough proof. It would have to be from the game developers themselves. Charlr6 (talk) 11:36, 21 October 2012 (UTC)
- Here is the IGN article that claimed Bond is voiced by Craig, and at the top they have amended the article to say it is not Craig.[2] I've also read on fourms, which are admittedly not reliable sources, that on the credits screen for the game it clearly lists someone other than Craig as the voice for Bond. Be that as it may, the most appropriate action would probably be to list no one as the voice actor in the Wikipedia article until a reliable source is found for the voice. However, it would not be appropriate to add Craig's name. Chicken Wing (talk) 05:12, 24 October 2012 (UTC)
Okay, does Craig voice Bond in this game or not? It sounds like Craig, but it could be a talented voice actor. This article says that he does. Craig's wikipedia article says that he only provides the likeness. The James Bond wiki says that Daniel Watson is the voice and Craig is only the image. Emperor001 (talk) 04:14, 4 August 2013 (UTC)
Regarding Blofelds likeness
[edit]As in the trailer you can see Blofeld, and if you need reminding here is a picture... [3]
He looks like Donald Pleasance and Telly Savalas combined. But how should we mention this in the likeness for the character? I'd be surprised if there is an article from the developers saying 'we tried to incorporate both actors into the model', so should we put down Donald Pleasance and Telly Savalas? Charlr6 (talk) 19:12, 12 October 2012 (UTC)
- Here is a better representation of Blofeld's likeness. Alongside the overall body shape and clothing of Savalas and the scar of Pleasence, I feel that the deeper grooves of his face are based on Charles Gray's portrayel. In-box thinker (talk) 17:31, 15 October 2012 (UTC)
- Do you think we should mention that? There isn't exactly going to be an article on it, but when looking at him it is obvious, yes it would be classed as original research if we put it in, but it is obvious. Hopefully there will be an article why they include all three into one. Charlr6 (talk) 18:19, 15 October 2012 (UTC)
- This is how Blofeld's appearance is currently described in the Cast section: "Blofeld is an amalgamation of the three actors who portrayed him". Do you want to mention the three actors' names? I don't see any problem with that; it's if/when it gets challenged by some pedantic wikipedian that a problem arises. In-box thinker (talk) 18:36, 16 October 2012 (UTC)
- I don't mind if the actors names get mentioned. Might be worth it as they are the three main portrayals, so yeah, they can be added.. As there aren't a huge amount of editors on this page anyway hopefully it will be ok. But whats written is good. Charlr6 (talk) 23:16, 16 October 2012 (UTC)
Music
[edit]They reused some of Blood Stone's soundtrack in the Skyfall levels and during the boss fights. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 173.63.200.195 (talk) 00:01, 15 November 2012 (UTC)
PC version removed?
[edit]It seems the PC digital version has been pulled from Steam for some unknown reason: [1]
Worth adding to the main article?
