Proposed merge of Elizabeth Hawkins Knight into Andrew Knight (politician)
[edit]No evidence of any notability, but may as well include the info on this woman (dates, birth name, link to NPG portrait) in the article on her notable politician husband. PamD 23:50, 19 January 2020 (UTC)
- I'd rather delete: details about her this basic are relevant in his article anyway, but IMHO merging wives into husbands articles is generally practice to be avoided. The Drover's Wife (talk) 02:14, 20 January 2020 (UTC)
- @The Drover's Wife: Would you then make a redirect from her name to his article where she gets a mention? PamD 06:52, 20 January 2020 (UTC)
- Merging, rather than only redirecting, given that otherwise we loose the reference and its link to her national gallery portrait. To just redirect would obfuscate the action. Merger complete. Klbrain (talk) 09:38, 30 August 2020 (UTC)
