[edit]it's kind of funny that you listed them as registered democrats, did it have relevance at some point? --M4bwav 18:15, 20 January 2006 (UTC)
- It's a good way of fitting in, if you're a member of a moderate political group, than you're less likely to be a terrorist, in common-sense. -- user:zanimum
- Seems to me the best way to avoid detection, would be to avoid all political contact, then you would stay off the political radar. Most Americans don't have a strong political affliation, so to me this couldn't have helped them avoid detection, instead they were probably just against the incumbent republicans.--M4bwav 21:11, 8 February 2006 (UTC)
It's likely all terrorists and their supporters would oppose the incumbent Republicans and be far more friendly toward Democrats. The Factoid is relevant, however, in that it describes the depth of their integration into American society despite being active in al Qaeda terrorism. --DanKorn 05:05, 22 February 2006 (UTC)
- Whatever, I don't think it sounds very relevant, but if you think it's important.--M4bwav 13:13, 22 February 2006 (UTC)
Background
[edit]A minor change: who to which. The Taliban, according to wp, is a thing not a them. "Taliban" .. "is a pro-Wahhabi Sunni Islamist, predominantly Pashtun fundamentalist religious and political movement"
11 PM News (http://www.wivb.com) reports that "high ranking officials in the Bush administration, including VP Cheney" wanted to send troops into western NY to capture the Lackawanna Six Miros1 (talk) 03:26, 25 July 2009 (UTC)
Why isn't this article located at "Lackawanna Six"?
[edit]The intro specifically says they're "known primarily as Lackawanna Six", so that clearly is where the article ought to be. 75.76.213.106 (talk) 14:58, 11 June 2010 (UTC)
I was just wondering the same thing. I'm from Buffalo, and I had no idea who the "Buffalo Six" were until I clicked and saw "Lackawanna Six". Anyone against the idea of moving the article to "Lackawanna Six"? Kltk78 (talk) 21:23, 7 August 2013 (UTC)
