Danger and mislabeling
[edit]This article needs a section detailing how this drug has been horribly mislabeled as a Schedule IV drug. Stadol is HIGHLY addictive, so much so that most doctors will no longer prescribe it for humans, and the company that created it will no longer market it. 98.82.193.135 (talk) 23:51, 23 April 2011 (UTC)
In the US
[edit]It's only used in dogs and cats it's no longer used in humans it was replaced in 1997 by Tramadol witch is safer. A8v (talk) 19:24, 24 December 2014 (UTC)
Nasal Spray
[edit]Is butorphanol no longer used to treat headaches at all? Via the intranasal spray?
