Song
[edit]Hi all, I know there is a song in this series with lyrics like this:
We take our chances All through the life Don't give it up! It's your right to survive... Remember: some win, some lose.
It would nice to specify a link to mp3 and lyrics of this song in the article. Does anybody know?95.25.146.82 (talk) 05:55, 23 April 2011 (UTC)Dima
- I found it at youtube, Chances (Australian soap) opening credits, but lyrics for it nowhere. Lyrics is still wanted because I'm not native English speaker.95.25.157.154 (talk) 17:19, 25 September 2011 (UTC)Dima
- I can help with the lyrics but does anyone know the title of the song? Is the song also called Chances? What is the name of the artist and the writer of the song? I looked all over but I couldn't find anything. Goldcan (talk) 08:45, 21 January 2016 (UTC)
- Here are the lyrics:
Open your eyes Take a good look around You can fly to the top Lift your feet off the ground And rise through the seasons Whatever they bring Some win, some lose People take chances All through their lives Don't give it up It's your right to survive Walk crossing your bridges With battles to fight Remember, some win, some lose
Please help! Goldcan (talk) 08:45, 21 January 2016 (UTC)

The result of the move request was: page moved. Strong consensus, and although strictly this was not formatted as a multiple move and therefore the required heads-up was not posted at the other affected page, I'm confident it would not have affected the result. Chances → Chances (TV series) – And Chances (disambiguation) to Chances. There are six other articles using this exact title, as well as one redirect from an alternative title (the other soap opera) and two near matches. Although the article for the Australian soap gets more traffic (1600-2000 visits in a typical month) than any of the other uses individually, the other articles combined get about half again as many visits. I don't think this series qualifies as the primary topic. ShelfSkewed Talk 15:19, 16 June 2011 (UTC)
- Partial support. Chances and Chances (disambiguation) should both redirect to Chance (and merged where required). Srnec (talk) 22:19, 16 June 2011 (UTC)
- Support: Chances (Five for Fighting song) is probably pretty popular as well. –CWenger (^ • @) 22:31, 16 June 2011 (UTC)
- Strong support and merge Chance and Chances disambiguation pages. Chances usually means luck. 65.94.47.63 (talk) 04:06, 17 June 2011 (UTC)
- Support - Less page views than all the other full title match pages. Merge disambiguation pages. Marcus Qwertyus 20:28, 17 June 2011 (UTC)
- Support. Rather baffling how such a common word got an article like this without the proper disambiguation. I disagree that the singular and plural dab pages should be merged, though; that creates too many terms for the casual reader to sift through to find the article they want.
