Merger of statue article

The result of this discussion was "Do not merge." Johnnie Bob (talk) 21:54, 26 September 2020 (UTC)[reply]

I merged Statue of Charles Linn here because there was so little material and because the destruction of the statue needs the explanation of Linn's history to make sense. This was undone, so here we are. Mangoe (talk) 15:24, 9 September 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Strong oppose. There's enough coverage for a standalone article; the statue page needs to be expanded, not deleted. Then, briefly summarize in both the Charles Linn and Linn Park, Birmingham, Alabama articles. ---Another Believer (Talk) 20:50, 9 September 2020 (UTC)[reply]
Having come back to review the expanded article on the statue, it's still basically one shortish paragraph. I'm just not seeing a reason not to redo the merge using the expanded material. Mangoe (talk) 14:26, 18 September 2020 (UTC)[reply]
Oppose. Second all points made by Another Believer. -- John (Johnnie Bob (talk) 22:28, 11 September 2020 (UTC))[reply]
