I will (hopefully) review this within the month. But before I do I have a question: are there any other RS sources available about Wambebe? The source from the Guardian is doing a ton of heavy lifting, and it would be preferable for a GA to not rely too heavily on a single source. - @LunaEatsTuna Thanks for picking this review up. I do not see any major problem with the Guardian source. Besides, there’s also a SIGCOV at TWAS. Vanderwaalforces (talk) 05:33, 23 May 2024 (UTC)
- Sounds alright to me; makes the spotcheck easier! Template:LunaEatsTunaSig (talk), posted at 01:53, 25 May 2024 (UTC)
Da review:
- I would make it "National Institute for Pharmaceutical Research and Development (NIPRD) in Abuja", and do the same for the sentence in § Career and research.
- Done --Vanderwaalforces (talk) 21:31, 25 May 2024 (UTC)
- Specify also in the lead what countries Tshwane and Makerere Universities are located in.
- Done --Vanderwaalforces (talk) 21:31, 25 May 2024 (UTC)
- Do you know if Emi Tsado is a village, city, district etc.? Because it has no article it might be more informative for readers to say something like "in the town of Emi Tsado, Kogi State, Nigeria" etc. if possible. :)
- Done --Vanderwaalforces (talk) 21:31, 25 May 2024 (UTC)
- Is what four plants it was derived from relevant or not really? I notice you exclude their names.
- I actually found the names here [1], namely Piper guineenses seeds, Pterocarpus osun stem, Eugenia caryophyllum fruit and Sorghum bicolor leaves, Should I add them and cite the above link? --Vanderwaalforces (talk) 21:31, 25 May 2024 (UTC)
- @Vanderwaalforces: Yes, I think so! Template:LunaEatsTunaSig (talk), posted at 22:14, 28 May 2024 (UTC)
- @LunaEatsTuna Done thanks. Vanderwaalforces (talk) 04:43, 29 May 2024 (UTC)

- The abbreviations for the agencies, like CDC, ADB etc. are not necessary as they are not mentioned again, and these abbreviations clog up the article quite a bit.
- Done --Vanderwaalforces (talk) 21:31, 25 May 2024 (UTC)
- There is a lot mentioned in the third paragraph of § Career and research without any dates, which makes the whole thing slightly jarring; are you at all able to possibly find out when he was appointed President of the International Biomedical Research for Africa? It is fine if not but it seems like an important position that might have some coverage.
- RSs did not mention dates even though there are dates. For example, his CV [2], but this is a primary self-published source, which is why I also ommited the dates. WDYT?--Vanderwaalforces (talk) 21:31, 25 May 2024 (UTC)
- Alright, I think it is unfortunately best to exclude any dates then. Template:LunaEatsTunaSig (talk), posted at 22:14, 28 May 2024 (UTC)
- Does "His research focused on the development of phytomedicines from African indigenous ..." refer specifically to his writings in journals and books? If so, you could combine it with the prior sentence to make something like: "He published articles in international journals and contributed chapters to books, focusing his research on the development of phytomedicines from African indigenous medical knowledge using African food plants" to make this more clear (if true) and improve the flow of the article.
- Done Thank you. --Vanderwaalforces (talk) 21:31, 25 May 2024 (UTC)
- Are you able to find out what the other books he authored were? This article could have a Bibliography section.
- Done --Vanderwaalforces (talk) 21:31, 25 May 2024 (UTC)
- "He was elected a fellow of" – how about "He was an elected fellow of" instead?
- Either ways is correct though, but Done --Vanderwaalforces (talk) 21:31, 25 May 2024 (UTC)
- @LunaEatsTuna Checks out :) Vanderwaalforces (talk) 21:32, 25 May 2024 (UTC)
