|
Are you serious?
[edit]Someone made an article about this? Talk about a parody ... of yourselves. 204.65.211.114 (talk) 20:30, 3 June 2013 (UTC)
Wriststrong Bracelets
[edit]Does anyone think its relevant to add a section regarding Wriststrong Bracelets that Colbert sold in order to raise money for a charity, The Yellow Ribbon Fund? There are plenty of refs on the YRF page. Outback the koala (talk) 06:18, 30 October 2009 (UTC)
Suspicion
[edit]No body suspects he sent insults to all those towns to get a free trip to them? —Preceding unsigned comment added by Krashlia (talk • contribs) 13:09, 7 August 2010 (UTC)
Point of view
[edit]I know that he's attacked Wikipedia with that elephant population thing and other stuff, but we could at least make it a more neutral article. 68.75.25.108 (talk) 16:28, 3 September 2010 (UTC)
Space Station
[edit]his campaign for the space station part (eventually leading to the treadmill named after him) should have a section, as it was very similar scale/idea as the hungarian bridge —Preceding unsigned comment added by 24.108.10.221 (talk) 06:36, 8 September 2010 (UTC)
Larry Emdur?
[edit]Under the "Wikipedia references" section, it is claimed that "Larry Emdur was discussing his new wiki where readers can share their musical compositions". The name links to the Australian TV personality (by that name) who I don't think has ever been on the show. I would remove it but thought that it may just be that someone has mixed-up his name. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 202.89.185.197 (talk) 14:09, 21 October 2010 (UTC)
I'd like this article if it was Facebook
[edit]Wikipedia should have a like button, and a fact checked sign.
Rally Origin
[edit]I recall one of Stewart or Colbert stating that they had planned the "Rally to Restore Sanity/Fear" long before Reddit promoted it. I can't find it back. But, I know that the main article mentions that the rally had been planned before Reddit campaigned for it. If you know of a reference, please edit this. Until then, I'll be looking for that source.Thegeniusboy05 (talk) 16:53, 17 November 2012 (UTC)
I think we should split the article in two

The reason is that I think he has mentioned this site enough times that all his mentions belong on one separate page. Jinkinson (talk) 01:10, 26 July 2013 (UTC)

Is this a joke?
[edit]How does Wikipedia even pretends to be a "serious encyclopedia" with articles such as this? What's Wikipedia's obsession with Colbert anyway? — Preceding unsigned comment added by 189.192.193.97 (talk) 22:00, 25 June 2014 (UTC)
- You're kidding, right? Have you watched the show? The show is heavily obsessed with Wikipedia, to the extent it encourages vandalism of Wikipedia on a frequent basis.
Boston University
[edit]Per NBC News' Meet the Press [1] a course at Boston University on American Satire by Prof. Rodriguez, heavily references The Colbert Report. -- 65.94.43.89 (talk) 22:09, 24 May 2015 (UTC)
