Introduction of Gen2 boards
[edit]I have added Template:Outdated_as_of and Template:One_source maintenance templates to this article. Gen2 boards have since been released since this article last saw a major update, there is no information in the article indicating that Gen1 boards are the topic of discussion, much less that Gen2 boards are in development and have been officially announced by Intel. Citations of this article are also lacking; 3 out of the 5 are just references to pricing of comparable products and not specific to the product being discussed in the article. 1 of the other sources references the release date and does not give an in-depth description of the product. the other source is a brief description on an electronics distributor's website.
- I will work on adding more official sources directly from Intel, but I am not intimately familiar with this product line and I could use the assistance of someone with a more comprehensive knowledge. Thanks -Jchap1590 (talk) 16:24, 28 August 2014 (UTC)
Confusing statement about "IDE"
[edit]Intro says: " Intel Galileo supports the Arduino IDE running atop an unmodified Linux software stack, supported by a common open source tool chain."
That doesn't make sense. Why would the topic of unmodified Linux be relevant to the IDE? The IDE can run on Windows, Mac OS and Linux. Perhaps the author meant to talk about the Arduino runtime? Or is the author trying to tell us that in this system the Arduino IDE has to run on the Galileo board itself? How do we view and interact with this IDE? Gwideman (talk) 07:12, 22 January 2016 (UTC)
