The result of the move request was: not moved because we use commonname instead of official names. Tiggerjay (talk) 02:00, 24 April 2013 (UTC)
Isu Station → Chongshin University Station – As seen at File:Isusta.jpg, "Chongshin University Station" seems to be the official English name for this station. It should be moved to the official name. Relisted. BDD (talk) 16:40, 15 April 2013 (UTC) Piotr Konieczny aka Prokonsul Piotrus| reply here 08:59, 1 April 2013 (UTC)
- Oppose "Chongshin Univ. (Isu) Station" (Stn # 432) is the official English name of Line 4 while "Isu Station" (736) is the official name of Line 7. Anyway, "Isu Station" is the popular usage. Sawol (talk) 06:47, 4 April 2013 (UTC)
- Can you cite your sources? I may just have a picture, but it's one of many signs at the station, and so the hard reality seems to contradict your argument quite clearly :) Now, a name such as Chongshin University (Isu) Station may be a reasonable compromise, and may even be the correct official name, as you say. How about that? --Piotr Konieczny aka Prokonsul Piotrus| reply here 08:06, 4 April 2013 (UTC)
- You can find out that via File:Isusta.jpg, its operators' websites Seoul Metro, Seoul Metropolitan Rapid Transit. Wikipedia uses the common names as article titles instead of the official names, and that's what's important. "Isu Station" is the popular usage. Namseong Station is closer to Chongshin University than Isu Station. Namseong Station is at 37°29′04″N 126°58′16″E / 37.48444°N 126.97111°E. Chongshin University (Isu) Station is most frequently called Isu Station. Sawol (talk) 16:09, 4 April 2013 (UTC)
