Image copyright problem with File:Rfef.jpg
[edit]The image File:Rfef.jpg is used in this article under a claim of fair use, but it does not have an adequate explanation for why it meets the requirements for such images when used here. In particular, for each page the image is used on, it must have an explanation linking to that page which explains why it needs to be used on that page. Please check
- That there is a non-free use rationale on the image's description page for the use in this article.
- That this article is linked to from the image description page.

Fourth Tier not Third Tier
[edit]While Tercera does translate to the word third, it is still actually the fourth tier in the Spanish league system. The order is Tier 1: La Liga, Tier 2: Segunda División, Tier 3: Segunda División B, then Tier 4: Tercera División. All of these divisions have promotion/relegation between them, which defines the tier order. While it may seem weird with the name not matching the tier, this is fairly common in the football world for example: League One (English 3rd tier), 1. division (Danish 2nd tier), Division 1 (Swedish 3rd tier). The infobox for Tercera Division correctly shows that it is the 4th tier and will become the 5th tier next year. In fact, beginning in 2021-2022, it will become the fifth tier, due to the creation of a new third tier by the Spanish soccer association (information already in article about this). Tercera División → Tercera División RFEF – New division name, per Diario AS, RFEF, Marca and so on. Also known as Tercera RFEF. BRDude70 (talk) 05:04, 8 July 2021 (UTC)
- Note: This discussion has been included in WikiProject Football's list of association football-related page moves. GiantSnowman 17:45, 8 July 2021 (UTC)
- Support per nom, on basis that this is just a simple renaming and not any kind of league re-organisation. GiantSnowman 17:54, 8 July 2021 (UTC)
