[edit]One way to improve this article might be to include information about Vocational Rehabilitation in other countries, or the lack thereof. The article could broaden in scope by including more countries. Patience456 (talk) 01:18, 3 September 2015 (UTC) Another way to improve this article would be to make the first link a link to the "About Us" page instead of the home page of the Vocational Rehabilitation Association. Thirdly, the list of ways to help people seeking vocational rehabilitation is an exact copy of the list on the website. It is best to paraphrase using different words. Patience456 (talk) 01:28, 3 September 2015 (UTC) I also suggest that this page cover vocational rehabilitation of veterans specifically. I would like to make the page more comprehensive. Vocational rehabilitation job coach should be mentioned in this article
[edit]“Standard Occupational Classification Manual”
EXECUTIVE OFFICE OF THE PRESIDENT OFFICE OF MANAGEMENT AND BUDGET, USA 2018:
21-0000 Community and Social Service Occupations 21-1000 Counselors, Social Workers, and Other Community and Social Service Specialists …. 21-1015 Rehabilitation Counselors
Counsel individuals to maximize the independence and employability of persons coping with personal, social, and vocational difficulties that result from birth defects, illness, disease, accidents, aging, or the stress of daily life. Coordinate activities for residents of care and treatment facilities. Assess client needs and design and implement rehabilitation programs that may include personal and vocational counseling, training, and job placement. Excludes “Occupational Therapists” (29-1122). Illustrative examples: Psychosocial Rehabilitation Counselor, Veterans Rehabilitation Counselor, Vocational Rehabilitation Job Coach David1886 (talk) 23:00, 23 August 2023 (UTC)
- You seem to be having trouble citing sources, which is required per WP:V, a core policy. See Wikipedia:Citing sources for details. You should find something with actual in-depth information, though. A trivial mention as part of an examples list isn't the sort of coverage I'd expect. MrOllie (talk) 23:25, 23 August 2023 (UTC)
