[edit]nicley done walter!
Notability
[edit]I just looked up this artist. The notation that the subject may not be notable enough is absurd and needs to be removed. Just as a simple indicator, a search on the unique name in quotes pulls 73,000 hits (not that this would even be necessary to prove anything relevant).
I'm seeing this notation more and more on subjects I look up. Why such zeal to remove subjects? People need to step back and take the time to become informed about a subject before racing to remove it just because they know nothing about it. Xerlome (talk) 18:38, 16 September 2014 (UTC)
- Xerlome is right. The artist appears to be notable. There are still other issues with this page that can be fixed. TritonsRising (talk) 10:44, 17 February 2015 (UTC)
60.251.50.16 edit reverts
[edit]Hi, whoever 60.251.50.16 is, if you happen to see this! Your various edits are being reverted because...
- Some of the content you're adding is plagiarized. (...I originally said that it was from a source that is unreliable, but I shouldn't jump to that conclusion without looking more carefully!)
- Your edits aren't following Wikipedia's Manual of Style for the lead section opening an article. The lead should be an introduction & summary; it doesn't make sense to have a paragraph on the genre of "brutal prog" at the top of an article about a person.
- I'm not sure what "policy" this falls under, but the "instrument" section of the infobox isn't for every instrument a person has ever played.
- You're... sometimes wrong? Walter does not play contrabass; Brandon Seabrook does play on Shattered Dimension.
I appreciate your enthusiasm, because it's reminded me to clean things up here––but if someone undoes your edits, please don't put them back again; I just took down the issues template from this page! Knifegames (talk) 07:01, 28 January 2021 (UTC)
Discography
[edit]Earlier I had added a more fully-formatted version of the Luttenbachers discography w/ personnel, instrumentation, etc., but I'm realizing WW is probably going to need a separate discography page... so for now I'm working on those more detailed listings in a sandbox. Apologies, too, for organization or lack thereof; I've just added 70-80 releases & it's still nowhere near comprehensive, not sure how collaborations / co-led bands should be split up, etc. Knifegames (talk) 07:36, 28 January 2021 (UTC)
