This template (Template:Literarypunkgenre) was considered for deletion on 2005 December 23. The result of the discussion was "no consensus to delete".

No point for this

What is the purpose for this template? Originally it was a useful tool to navigate between the numerous -punk sub-genre articles. However ever since the insane purging of those articles it truly serves no purpose other than plotting together a band of a measly four -punk genres. The template doesn't even include Spatterpunk or Mannerpunk so it's not really doing what it says: which is a listing of Punk Literary genres. I think it should either be re-designed or deleted. Pejorative "sci-fi": please change to "science fiction" so as not to insult authors and creators in general

Could you please re-design this template slightly, so that it doesn't call a lot of good work "sci-fi"? The latter term is reserved in the field for use as a pejorative to describe the worst products of Hollywood and video-game-designer hacks. --Orange Mike 21:58, 8 March 2007 (UTC)[reply]
