The Thiriotiidae are a family of parasitic alveolates in the phylum Apicomplexa.
Taxonomy
[edit]There is one genus in this family - Thiriotia.
The type species is Thiriotia pisae.
Other species in this genus include Thiriotia pugettiae.
History
