User:Learned Serpent

Hey all! I'm Learned Serpent, pronounced "lərnəd." I got that name by combining two concepts. First, the word "learned" has a double meaning in this case. It was the name of an influential American jurist, Judge Learned Hand, and the word learned also means "(of a person) having much knowledge acquired by study." The second part of the name comes from "the Serpent," a primordial entity who created the Wanderer's Library, an infinite repository of knowledge located outside of normal spacetime within the SCP universe. Given the nature of Wikipedia and my proclivities, this name seemed fitting. I know that's needlessly detailed, but it's just for fun.

I have a bachelor's of arts in history with a minor in political science and a law degree. I'm interested in many topics and being eclectic is my life philosophy. I am most interested in law and governance, history, political science, science fiction, cosmic horror, and taxonomy (read: categorizing stuff).

I'm here to contribute in any way I can, as I've noticed lots of the articles on topics I'm interested in are outdated, incomplete, or don't exist.
