[edit]

Holly Laurent is an American comedian and filmmaker. Laurent is a co-host of the improvised podcast MEGA, called "skillful satire" by Vulture Magazine.[1] She is a contributor on the radio variety show Live From Here.[2] Laurent won the Debut Directing Prize in 2019 for her film Brought to You by Satan that premiered at the Discover Film Festival in London.[3] She narrated the story of Carl Sagan and Ann Druyan on Drunk History's season three Space episode.[4]

She is alumni of The Second City and is an original member of iO's comedy group The Reckoning. She was the creator of the comedy show I Live Next to Horses, winner of the Critic’s Choice Award in 2008.[5] The show was said to contain "the most courageous bits in iO's storied history"[6] by the Chicago Reader and was directed by fellow Reckoning member Mike O'Brien.
