Hi Eric I was removing stuff that didn't seem to add anything. However I am interested in improving my page- but not if it makes me look like an arse! any thoughts? — Preceding unsigned comment added by 80.189.69.224 (talk) 22:44, 7 April 2022 (UTC)
- Hi, if you have a conflict of interest (COI) due to a close connection with the subject, then you really need to follow the WP:COI guidelines. The two recent edits by an IP, for example, could be construed – rightly or wrongly– as whitewashing. It's advisable to make suggestions on the article's talk page, rather than directly edit the article, if the material is (say) promotional or potentially controversial.
