Welcome to Wikipedia. Although everyone is welcome to contribute constructively to the encyclopedia, your addition of one or more external links to the page George Daniel has been reverted.
Your edit here was reverted by an automated bot that attempts to remove links which are discouraged per our external links guideline from Wikipedia. The external link you added or changed is on my list of links to remove and probably shouldn't be included in Wikipedia. I removed the following link(s): http://www.facebook.com/pages/Fly-Fishing-Team-USA/117506571592709?ref=ts (redirect from http://www.flyfishingteamusa.com), http://www.facebook.com/pages/Fly-Fishing-Team-USA/117506571592709?ref=ts (redirect from http://www.flyfishingteamusa.com//).
If you were trying to insert an external link that does comply with our policies and guidelines, then please accept my creator's apologies and feel free to undo the bot's revert. However, if the link does not comply with our policies and guidelines, but your edit included other, constructive, changes to the article, feel free to make those changes again without re-adding the link. Please read Wikipedia's external links guideline for more information, and consult my list of frequently-reverted sites. For more information about me, see my FAQ page. If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on George M Daniel requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about a person or group of people, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hang on}} to the top of the page that has been nominated for deletion (just below the existing speedy deletion, or "db", tag; if no such tag exists, then the page is no longer a speedy delete candidate and adding a hang-on tag is unnecessary), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the page meets the criterion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the page that would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, you can contact one of these administrators to request that the administrator userfy the page or email a copy to you. -- Alan Liefting (talk) - 01:09, 13 December 2010 (UTC)[reply]

The article George M Daniel has been proposed for deletion because under Wikipedia policy, all biographies of living persons created after March 18, 2010, must have at least one source that directly supports material in the article.

If you created the article, please don't take offense. Instead, consider improving the article. For help on inserting references, see Wikipedia:Referencing for beginners or ask at Wikipedia:Help desk. Once you have provided at least one reliable source, you may remove the {{prod blp}} tag. Please do not remove the tag unless the article is sourced. If you cannot provide such a source within ten days, the article may be deleted, but you can request that it be undeleted when you are ready to add one. -- Alan Liefting (talk) - 01:20, 13 December 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Notability

[edit]

I see you've been hit by notability notices on the pages you created. Being a member of TeamUSA won't cut it for notability but winning a championship might so if they have won anything you should put that in the first sentence. They might still be deleted, depending on what they won. I'm afraid the TeamUSA page could get hit with the same - it's a a Facebook page not a 'proper' website. It's there to support the Fly Fishing World Championship - an event which doesn't even have it's own wikipedia page.

I would suggest you concentrate on creating a page for the championship - if it is really the world's biggest fly fishing competition then it will be notable. Any of these guys can be included in list of winners in that article - if they are.

Hope this helps. --filceolaire (talk) 16:25, 8 September 2011 (UTC)[reply]
