Arthur Banks has been tagged for deletion, and may have been deleted by the time you see this message. If the source is a credible one, please consider rewriting the content and citing the source.
If you believe that the article is not a copyright violation, or if you have permission from the copyright holder to release the content freely under the GFDL, you can comment to that effect on Talk:Arthur Banks. A tag has been placed on Arthur Banks, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done because the article seems to be a biographical account about a person, group of people, or band, but it does not indicate how or why he/she/they is/are notable. If you can indicate why Arthur Banks is really notable, I advise you to edit the article promptly, and also put a note on Talk:Arthur Banks. Any admin should check for such edits before deleting the article. Feel free to leave a note on my talk page if you have any questions about this. Please read our criteria for speedy deletion, particularly item 7 under Articles. You might also want to read our general biography criteria. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself. To contest the tagging and request that admins should wait a while for you to assert his/her/their notability, please affix the template {{hangon}}
to the page, and then immediately add such an assertion. It is also a very good idea to add citations from reliable sources to ensure that your article will be verifiable. --RMHED 21:58, 13 September 2006 (UTC)
License tagging for Image:St edwards shield.gif
[edit]Thanks for uploading Image:St edwards shield.gif. Wikipedia gets thousands of images uploaded every day, and in order to verify that the images can be legally used on Wikipedia, the source and copyright status must be indicated. Images need to have an image tag applied to the image description page indicating the copyright status of the image. This uniform and easy-to-understand method of indicating the license status allows potential re-users of the images to know what they are allowed to do with the images.
For more information on using images, see the following pages:

Sorry to say I have removed your table of managers and re-worded the writing under the table, the reason being, a table such as this has never been included in a previous article, and the grammar in the sentences was not really up to scratch, sorry the section was a good idea though Chaza1000 12:05, 14 July 2007 (UTC)
Football-Lineups.com
[edit]A {{prod}} template has been added to the article Football-Lineups.com, suggesting that it be deleted according to the proposed deletion process. All contributions are appreciated, but the article may not satisfy Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and the deletion notice explains why (see also "What Wikipedia is not" and Wikipedia's deletion policy). Unreferenced BLPs
[edit]Hello Gdlrobertson! Thank you for your contributions. I am a bot notifying you on behalf of the the unreferenced biographies team that 3 of the articles that you created are currently tagged as Unreferenced Biographies of Living Persons. The biographies of living persons policy requires that all personal or potentially controversial information be sourced. In addition, to ensure verifiability, all biographies should be based on reliable sources. If you were to bring these articles up to standards, it would greatly help us with the current 139 article backlog. Once the articles are adequately referenced, please remove the {{unreferencedBLP}} tag. Here is the list:

- Duane Vermeulen - Find sources: Google (books · news · scholar · free images · WP refs) · FENS · JSTOR · TWL

Speedy deletion nomination of Steven Kitshoff
[edit]A tag has been placed on Steven Kitshoff, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia for multiple reasons. Please see the page to see the reasons. If the page has since been deleted, you can ask me the reasons by leaving a message on my user talk page.
If you think that this notice was placed here in error, contest the deletion by clicking on the button labelled "Click here to contest this speedy deletion," which appears inside of the speedy deletion ({{db-...}}
) tag (if no such tag exists, the page is no longer a speedy delete candidate). Doing so will take you to the talk page where you will find a pre-formatted place for you to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. You can also visit the the page's talk page directly to give your reasons, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the page meets the criterion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the page that would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, you can contact one of these administrators to request that the administrator userfy the page or email a copy to you. Greenmaven (talk) 06:53, 17 June 2011 (UTC)

[edit]Hi, and thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia. It appears that you recently tried to give Sandro Ranieri a different title by copying its content and pasting either the same content, or an edited version of it, into another page with a different name. This is known as a "cut and paste move", and it is undesirable because it splits the page history, which is needed for attribution and various other purposes. Instead, the software used by Wikipedia has a feature that allows pages to be moved to a new title together with their edit history.
In most cases, once your account is four days old and has ten edits, you should be able to move an article yourself using the "Move" tab at the top of the page. This both preserves the page history intact and automatically creates a redirect from the old title to the new. If you cannot perform a particular page move yourself this way (e.g. because a page already exists at the target title), please follow the instructions at requested moves to have it moved by someone else. Also, if there are any other pages that you moved by copying and pasting, even if it was a long time ago, please list them at Wikipedia:Cut and paste move repair holding pen. Thank you. I have reverted the redirect and requested the move to be made in the proper fashion to retain the history. ClubOranjeT 10:27, 12 September 2011 (UTC)
- BTW, except for being a "cut'n'paste" move, I agree the page should be renamed; well spotted! --ClubOranjeT 10:33, 12 September 2011 (UTC)
You are right, I've done this incorrectly, I'll try to clean up my mess!!! Cheers. Gdlrobertson (talk) 10:42, 12 September 2011 (UTC)
- I have looked further into this, and it appears that his correct name is Ranieri, the only significant opposer to that spelling is the Premier League site. I have therefore withdrawn the move request and redirected the Raniere spelling to the original page. If you still think it should be renamed, you should discuss first at the Talk:Sandro Ranieri page; follow the instructions given at Wikipedia:Requested_moves#Requesting_a_single_page_move. --ClubOranjeT 10:56, 12 September 2011 (UTC)
The article Joe Launchbury has been proposed for deletion because it appears to have no references. Under Wikipedia policy, this newly created biography of a living person will be deleted unless it has at least one reference to a reliable source that directly supports material in the article.
If you created the article, please don't be offended. Instead, consider improving the article. For help on inserting references, see Referencing for beginners, or ask at the help desk. Once you have provided at least one reliable source, you may remove the {{prod blp}} tag. Please do not remove the tag unless the article is sourced. If you cannot provide such a source within ten days, the article may be deleted, but you can request that it be undeleted when you are ready to add one. Bgwhite (talk) 03:09, 8 November 2012 (UTC)
