Hi! It seems you recently created an unreferenced biography of a living person: Alyona Lanskaya. The community has decided that all new biographies of living persons must contain a reliable source that supports at least one statement made about the person in the article as per our verifiability policy. Please add references as soon as possible. Thanks! --LaraBot (talk) 00:11, 15 February 2012 (UTC)
Welcome
[edit]
|
The article Alyona Lanskaya has been proposed for deletion because, under Wikipedia policy, all newly created biographies of living persons must have at least one reference to a reliable source that directly supports material in the article. The nominator also raised the following concern:
- All biographies of living people created after March 18, 2010, must have references.
If you created the article, please don't be offended. Instead, consider improving the article. For help on inserting references, see Referencing for beginners, or ask at the help desk. Once you have provided at least one reliable source, you may remove the {{prod blp}} tag. Please do not remove the tag unless the article is sourced. If you cannot provide such a source within ten days, the article may be deleted, but you can request that it be undeleted when you are ready to add one. [edit]Welcome to Wikipedia. Everyone is welcome to contribute to the encyclopedia, but when you add or change content, as you did to the article Luxembourg in the Eurovision Song Contest, please cite a reliable source for your addition. This helps maintain our policy of verifiability. See Wikipedia:Citing sources for how to cite sources, and the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia. Thank you. - Before you start mass-adding Luxembourg as returning to the 2013 contest, perhaps you may like to have a read at the discussion on the article's talk page, which states that Luxembourg are not planning to return any time soon. Thank you Wesley☀Mouse 21:32, 11 June 2012 (UTC)

[edit]I have deleted your article Aynur Aydın because it was written overly promotional. Please feel free to recreate it by writing in a neutral and objective style. And what is most important, please add reliable, independent sources about this musicians achievements that back up the claims made in the article. See also our guidelines for notability of musicians. E.g. one possible criterion for having an article in Wikipedia is that a musical artist has had a single or album in any national chart. Speedy deletion nomination of Aynur Aydın
[edit]If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.
You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.
A tag has been placed on Aynur Aydın requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G12 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article or image appears to be a clear copyright infringement. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted text or images borrowed from other web sites or printed material, and as a consequence, your addition will most likely be deleted. You may use external websites as a source of information, but not as a source of sentences. This part is crucial: say it in your own words. Wikipedia takes copyright violations very seriously and persistent violators will be blocked from editing.
If the external website or image belongs to you, and you want to allow Wikipedia to use the text or image — which means allowing other people to modify it — then you must verify that externally by one of the processes explained at Wikipedia:Donating copyrighted materials. If you are not the owner of the external website or image but have permission from that owner, see Wikipedia:Requesting copyright permission. You might want to look at Wikipedia's policies and guidelines for more details, or ask a question here.
If you think that the page was nominated in error, contest the nomination by clicking on the button labelled "Click here to contest this speedy deletion" in the speedy deletion tag. Doing so will take you to the talk page where you can explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. You can also visit the page's talk page directly to give your reasons, but be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but do not hesitate to add information that is consistent with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. reddogsix (talk) 02:24, 20 December 2012 (UTC)

Latvia in the Eurovision Song Contest 2013
[edit]Why are you adding the links to songs? --Edgars2007 (talk/contribs) 06:54, 2 January 2013 (UTC)
Please stop adding these please; this an encyclopedia, not a music sharing website - external links in articles should be kept to a minimum, per Wikipedia:External links. In particular, adding raw external links in the middle of the article is not permitted at all, and these will not pass off as references, since they don't verify anything. Please note that persistent re-insertion of external links in violation of policy and after objection by other editors may be dealt with as spamming. CT Cooper · talk 16:59, 14 January 2013 (UTC)

License tagging for File:Rihanna Stay Cover.jpg
[edit]Thanks for uploading File:Rihanna Stay Cover.jpg. You don't seem to have indicated the license status of the image. Wikipedia uses a set of image copyright tags to indicate this information.
To add a tag to the image, select the appropriate tag from this list, click on this link, then click "Edit this page" and add the tag to the image's description. If there doesn't seem to be a suitable tag, the image is probably not appropriate for use on Wikipedia. For help in choosing the correct tag, or for any other questions, leave a message on Wikipedia:Media copyright questions. Thank you for your cooperation. --ImageTaggingBot (talk) 01:05, 17 January 2013 (UTC)

File copyright problem with File:This photo was published by eurovision.tv as the logo of the Eurovision Song Contest 2013.jpg
[edit]Thank you for uploading File:This photo was published by eurovision.tv as the logo of the Eurovision Song Contest 2013.jpg. However, it currently is missing information on its copyright and licensing status. Wikipedia takes copyright very seriously. It may be deleted soon, unless we can verify that it has an acceptable license status and a verifiable source. Please add this information by editing the image description page. You may refer to the image use policy to learn what files you can or cannot upload on Wikipedia. The page on copyright tags may help you to find the correct tag to use for your file. If the file is already gone, you can still make a request for undeletion and ask for a chance to fix the problem.
Please also check any other files you may have uploaded to make sure they are correctly tagged. Here is a list of your uploads.
If you have any questions, please feel free to ask them at the media copyright questions page. Thanks again for your cooperation. Stefan2 (talk) 13:22, 17 January 2013 (UTC)

Edit warring
[edit]Your recent editing history at Eurovision Song Contest 2013 shows that you are currently engaged in an edit war. Being involved in an edit war can result in you being blocked from editing—especially if you violate the three-revert rule, which states that an editor must not perform more than three reverts on a single page within a 24-hour period. Undoing another editor's work—whether in whole or in part, whether involving the same or different material each time—counts as a revert. Also keep in mind that while violating the three-revert rule often leads to a block, you can still be blocked for edit warring—even if you don't violate the three-revert rule—should your behavior indicate that you intend to continue reverting repeatedly.
To avoid being blocked, instead of reverting please consider using the article's talk page to work toward making a version that represents consensus among editors. See BRD for how this is done. You can post a request for help at a relevant noticeboard or seek dispute resolution. In some cases, you may wish to request temporary page protection.
AxG has started a discussion on the talk page; take it there please. CT Cooper · talk 15:34, 17 January 2013 (UTC)
You have made four reverts to Eurovision Song Contest 2013, and you have therefore broken the three revert rule (3RR), which you were warned about above - you have made no effort to even provide a reason for this continued reverting, let alone participate in the discussion you were invited to at Talk:Eurovision Song Contest 2013 and form and consensus. This is not on I'm afraid, so I have filed a report at Wikipedia:Administrators' noticeboard/Edit warring#User:Handsome128 reported by User:CT Cooper (Result: ). The only reason I haven't blocked you myself, since I am an administrator, is because I am involved.
I appreciate that your native language is not English, but I must inform you that if you choose to contribute to the English Wikipedia, you are required to communicate with other editors, in English, when they disagree with you. Your English doesn't need to perfect, we can make allowances, but silence is not an option. CT Cooper · talk 20:17, 17 January 2013 (UTC)

Disputed non-free use rationale for File:This is the back album cover of Rihanna's album Anti.png
[edit]Thank you for uploading File:This is the back album cover of Rihanna's album Anti.png. However, there is a concern that the rationale provided for using this file on Wikipedia may not meet the criteria required by Wikipedia:Non-free content. This can be corrected by going to the file description page and adding or clarifying the reason why the file qualifies under this policy. Adding and completing one of the templates available from Wikipedia:Non-free use rationale guideline is an easy way to ensure that your file is in compliance with Wikipedia policy. Please be aware that a non-free use rationale is not the same as an image copyright tag; descriptions for files used under the non-free content policy require both a copyright tag and a non-free use rationale.
If it is determined that the file does not qualify under the non-free content policy, it might be deleted by an administrator within a few days in accordance with our criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions, please ask them at the media copyright questions page. Thank you. --Stefan2 (talk) 21:58, 25 October 2015 (UTC)
