A tag has been placed on William S. Pollack requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about a real person or group of people that does not credibly indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please read more about what is generally accepted as notable.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. TENET

[edit]

Science

[edit]

The film's plot revolves around reversing the entropy of things and people, resulting in time reversibility. [1] Tenet makes reference to physics concepts including the second law of thermodynamics, Maxwell's demon, and Feynman and Wheeler's notion of a one-electron universe. Christopher Nolan stated in the film’s press notes: "we’re not going to make any case for this being scientifically accurate”.[1] (Heroeswithmetaphors) talk 18:45, 22 November 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Hi.

I noticed you've been creating a few articles related to professional grapplers lately.

If you have time, would you mind creating pages on the following? I think they are overdue for an article

2.Lachlan Giles (ADCC Bronze Medalist and Worlds No-GI Bronze Medalist. Coach of Craig Jones as both are Australian)
3.Dante Leon (ADCC Bronze Medalist and multiple Worlds No-GI Medalist)
4.Matheus Diniz (ADCC Winner)

Since it takes time, perhaps you can create the stub pages first. Then let me know and I can add onto them.

Copy-Paste of draft article

[edit]

Information icon Hi, and thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia. It appears that you tried to give Draft:Shang Xia a different title by copying its content and pasting either the same content, or an edited version of it, into Shang Xia. This is known as a "cut-and-paste move", and it is undesirable because it splits the page history, which is legally required for attribution. Instead, the software used by Wikipedia has a feature that allows pages to be moved to a new title together with their edit history.

In most cases for registered users, once your account is four days old and has ten edits, you should be able to move an article yourself using the "Move" tab at the top of the page (the tab may be hidden in a dropdown menu for you). This both preserves the page history intact and automatically creates a redirect from the old title to the new. If you cannot perform a particular page move yourself this way (e.g. because a page already exists at the target title), please follow the instructions at requested moves to have it moved by someone else. Also, if there are any other pages that you moved by copying and pasting, even if it was a long time ago, please list them at Wikipedia:Requests for history merge. Thank you. Misleading edit summary on Jen Shah

[edit]

Information icon Hello, I'm KyleJoan. I noticed that you recently made an edit to Jen Shah in which your edit summary did not appear to describe the change you made. In the future, it would be helpful to others if you described your changes to Wikipedia with an accurate edit summary. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thanks. Splitting a section into three, each with its own heading, isn't a "cleanup". Please don't do this again. KyleJoantalk 23:59, 17 September 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Speedy deletion nomination of Ptaha

[edit]

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on Ptaha requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about a band or musician that does not credibly indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia.

Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator. ~ GB fan 19:58, 19 November 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Notice

The article Erik van Sabben has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

At the very least, this fails WP:BLP1E. The individual is (at most) notable for a single incident, and even this seems to be mostly based on a single (obscure?) source (the Volkskrant).
