Warning sign
This media may be deleted.

Thanks for uploading Image:Vilnius by Night.jpg.jpg. I notice the 'image' page currently doesn't specify who created the content, so the copyright status is unclear. If you have not created this media yourself then there needs to be an argument why we have the right to use the media on Wikipedia (see copyright tagging below). If you have not created the media yourself then it needs to be specified where it was found, i.e., in most cases link to the website where it was taken from, and the terms of use for content from that page.

If the media also doesn't have a copyright tag then one should be added. If you created/took the picture, audio, or video then the {{GFDL-self}} tag can be used to release it under the GFDL. If you believe the media qualifies as fair use, consider reading fair use, and then use a tag such as {{Non-free fair use in|article name}} or one of the other tags listed at Wikipedia:Image copyright tags#Fair_use. See Wikipedia:Image copyright tags for the full list of copyright tags that you can use.

If you have uploaded other media, consider checking that you have specified their source and copyright tagged them, too. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that any unsourced and untagged images will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. feydey 12:36, 20 May 2006 (UTC)[reply]

[edit]

Thanks for uploading Image:Vilnius by Night.jpg.jpg. However, the image may soon be deleted unless we can determine the copyright holder and copyright status. The Wikimedia Foundation is very careful about the images included in Wikipedia because of copyright law (see Wikipedia's Copyright policy).

The copyright holder is usually the creator, the creator's employer, or the last person who was transferred ownership rights. Copyright information on images is signified using copyright templates. The three basic license types on Wikipedia are open content, public domain, and fair use. Find the appropriate template in Wikipedia:Image copyright tags and place it on the image page like this: {{TemplateName}}.

Please signify the copyright information on any other images you have uploaded or will upload. Remember that images without this important information can be deleted by an administrator. If you have any questions, feel free to contact me, or ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. feydey 12:36, 20 May 2006 (UTC)[reply]

South African economy

[edit]

Thanks for your contributions to South Africa#Economy. However, I believe your contributions contain some contentious statements and tend towards personal opinion. If you want to state that South Africa is on the decline, please cite reliable sources. Zaian 15:13, 4 July 2006 (UTC).[reply]

I appreciate your gratitude, but I must say that I didn't express my personal opinion. I just said the science fact, which is that during the "cold war period" South Africa used to be a very prosperous and safe country (ofcourse it was not a democracy). At the moment South Africa's macroeconomic indicators are OK, but I was just comparing today's prosperity level with what it was 20 years ago. If current economic trends continue, this country reaches its 1970 economic level in 50 years. As far as qoutes are concerned, well it is a science fact which I thought didn't need a qoute.

Hello, why do you keep removing that it is in northeastern Europe? It is a referenced statement and it resolved a small conflict on the talk page arguing where is it - eastern, central, northern, etc Europe. So why don't you like it? Renata 13:25, 10 August 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Hi, you did that again. Would you care to explain why you don't like it? Because if you do not provide any reasoning I will be forced to revert. If you explain maybe we could find some sort of compromise. Renata 11:09, 11 August 2006 (UTC)[reply]
Probably this could help? M.K. 13:54, 11 August 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Hello,

I keep removing "northeasten Europe" thing, because Lithuania is in the Northern Europe as it has always been, and it never changed its location. Official recognition of this fact you can get at many political papers, websites. It's one of them:

Best,

Dear Renata,

I'm deeply sadned by the fact that you write subjective history based on the selective facts that you like. According to census conducted at the beginning of 20th. century, Lithuanians made up around 5 % of Vilnius population ( Many Lithuanians intentionaly were registered as Poles). During Polish occupation, harsh purges were in full swing after which in 1935 Lithuanins made up 0.8 % of Vilnius city population officialy.

Your edits to Vilnius

[edit]

Hello, please do not add POV about history related to Polish-Lithuanian Commonwealth of interwar conflicts. You will be reverted and if you don't start constructive dialogue on article talk page, you will be blocked. Renata 11:14, 12 September 2006 (UTC)[reply]

If you edit Vilnius or Lithuania again pushing unsourced POV, I am going to block you. That's your last warning. Renata 11:07, 15 September 2006 (UTC)[reply]

You have been blocked for 3 hours due to your POV pushing on Vilnius and Lithuania articles. If you wish to make useful contributions, you may do so after the block expires. If you will continue to push unsourced POV, you will earn a longer, or even indefinite block. Renata 11:34, 16 September 2006 (UTC)[reply]
