This is a standard message to notify contributors about an administrative ruling in effect. It does not imply that there are any issues with your contributions to date.

You have shown interest in the Arab–Israeli conflict. Due to past disruption in this topic area, a more stringent set of rules called discretionary sanctions is in effect. Any administrator may impose sanctions on editors who do not strictly follow Wikipedia's policies, or the page-specific restrictions, when making edits related to the topic.

For additional information, please see the guidance on discretionary sanctions and the Arbitration Committee's decision here. If you have any questions, or any doubts regarding what edits are appropriate, you are welcome to discuss them with me or any other editor.

Please note especially the 30/500 rule; and please fulfil those conditions before you edit controversial articles in the I-P area, Huldra (talk) 20:26, 21 June 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Ponyo, regarding the addition to Jasbir Puar controversy, you wrote that "Per WP:BLP: There are still WP:NPOV issues with this section, the sources are partisan and adding a controversy section sourced to partisan sources is WP:UNDUE"
How do I fix this? The sources are both recognized news outlets with archived sources, they are not "partisan" Jacker1968 (talk) 11:05, 18 October 2023 (UTC)[reply]
You are using partisan sources to add controversial negative material to a biography article. You must get consensus for the inclusion of your edits before restoring them. Starting a thread at this noticeboard will help determine the consensus.-- Ponyobons mots 19:48, 19 October 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Information icon Hello, I'm AntiDionysius. I noticed that you changed the personal pronouns of an individual in one of your recent edits. Wikipedia refers to all people, including transgender and nonbinary people, by the pronouns they have most recently requested for themselves; this applies to all phases of their lives, unless they have requested otherwise. If you think I made a mistake, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you. AntiDionysius (talk) 11:19, 1 August 2024 (UTC)[reply]
