Category:Russian scientists
[edit]Why do you think Alexey Dushkin or Andrey Zaliznyak were scientists? It looks like you do not understand what a "scientist" means. Ymblanter (talk) 16:27, 1 November 2023 (UTC)
- Apparently Russian Empire is a Russian inventor. But I think this looks like potential gaming. They reached 500 edits and then disappeared afterwards (until who knows when, maybe after 30 days?). Mellk (talk) 03:24, 6 November 2023 (UTC)
Blocked as a sockpuppet
[edit]Note that multiple accounts are allowed, but not for illegitimate reasons, and any contributions made while evading blocks or bans may be reverted or deleted.
If you think there are good reasons why you should be unblocked, you should review the guide to appealing blocks, and then appeal your block by adding the following text below this notice:
{{unblock|Your reason here ~~~~}}
. Note that anything you post in your unblock request will be public, so you may alternatively use the Unblock Ticket Request System to submit an appeal if it contains information that must be private.Administrators: Checkusers have access to confidential system logs not accessible by the public or by administrators due to the Wikimedia Foundation's privacy policy. You must not loosen or remove this block, or issue an IP block exemption, without consulting with a checkuser or the Arbitration Committee. Administrators who undo checkuser blocks without permission from a checkuser or the Arbitration Committee may be summarily desysopped.
Adding categories when someone is in a sub-cat
[edit]Scientists from the Russian Empire are organized as a sib-cat of Russian Scientists. So people in any category for scientists from the Russian Empire really should not be directly in the category Russian scientists.John Pack Lambert (talk) 06:08, 1 January 2024 (UTC)
