Hello, and welcome to Wikipedia. This is a notice to inform you that a tag has been placed on House of vere requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A1 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because it is a very short article providing little or no context to the reader. Please see Wikipedia:Stub for our minimum information standards for short articles. Also please note that articles must be on notable subjects and should provide references to reliable sources that verify their content.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Click here to contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, you can place a request here. QVVERTYVS (hm?) 13:38, 19 February 2014 (UTC)[reply]

February 2014

Information icon Hello, I'm Kolbasz. I wanted to let you know that I removed one or more external links you added to the main body of an article. Generally, any relevant external links should be listed in an "External links" section at the end of the article and meet the external links guidelines. Links within the body of an article should be internal Wikilinks. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you. Information icon Hello, I'm Kolbasz. I wanted to let you know that I removed one or more external links you added, because they seemed to be inappropriate for an encyclopedia. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page, or take a look at our guidelines about links. Thank you. no spam please

[edit]

Hello, please see Wikipedia:Disambiguation#External_links and do not reinsert your houseofvere.com link on several pages. Holger1959 (talk) 01:49, 20 February 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Holger1959 your claim is baseless, explain yourself.
[1], [2], [3] and many other edits count as spam. It's obvious.
Also see Wikipedia:Signatures to see how one signs on talk pages. Holger1959 (talk) 02:29, 20 February 2014 (UTC)[reply]

stop edit war

[edit]

You currently appear to be engaged in an edit war. Users are expected to collaborate with others, to avoid editing disruptively, and to try to reach a consensus rather than repeatedly undoing other users' edits once it is known that there is a disagreement.

Please be particularly aware, Wikipedia's policy on edit warring states:

  1. Edit warring is disruptive regardless of how many reverts you have made; that is to say, editors are not automatically "entitled" to three reverts.
  2. Do not edit war even if you believe you are right.

If you find yourself in an editing dispute, use the article's talk page to discuss controversial changes; work towards a version that represents consensus among editors. You can post a request for help at an appropriate noticeboard or seek dispute resolution. In some cases it may be appropriate to request temporary page protection. If you engage in an edit war, you may be blocked from editing. Holger1959 (talk) 04:14, 20 February 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Notice of Edit warring noticeboard discussion

[edit]

Information icon Hello. This message is being sent to inform you that there is currently a discussion involving you at Wikipedia:Administrators' noticeboard/Edit warring regarding a possible violation of Wikipedia's policy on edit warring. Thank you. Holger1959 (talk) 05:38, 20 February 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Lucius.veruss, please see the closure of the edit warring report. You are warned for edit warring, and are expected to get consensus for any future editing regarding the de Vere family. Further problems could result in a block without notice. Ask any experienced editor how to get consensus. Thank you, EdJohnston (talk) 23:44, 20 February 2014 (UTC)[reply]
