[edit]Hello, I'm Ganbaruby. I wanted to let you know that I reverted one of your recent contributions —specifically this edit to 2019–20 coronavirus pandemic—because it did not appear constructive. If you would like to experiment, please use the sandbox. If you have any questions, you can ask for assistance at the Help desk. Thanks. ◢ Ganbaruby! (remember to ping!) 18:52, 20 March 2020 (UTC)
- @Ganbaruby: oh, sorry. I forgot I had a chrome extension that messes with the American president's name and i guess it leaked into the edits i made MadameButterflyKnife yeah sure.talk 13:28, 21 March 2020 (UTC)
Important notice
[edit]Please carefully read this information:
A community discussion has authorised the use of general sanctions for pages related to coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19).
The specific details of these sanctions are described here.
--OhKayeSierra (talk) 19:10, 20 March 2020 (UTC)
- @OhKayeSierra: is it okay if i tag other covid-19 articles with those notices? cause i noticed some still dont have the notice.
- I wouldn't. General sanctions are invoked at an administrator's discretion on articles that have a history of disruption. You're more than welcome to let other users know about the sanctions as I did above, but please be sure to follow WP:GS when doing so. OhKayeSierra (talk) 23:54, 20 March 2020 (UTC)
- Also, please be sure to sign your posts using 4 tildes (~~~~). It helps others keep track of who said what in a conversation, and unfortunately, I wasn't able to get your ping since your post was unsigned. Thanks! OhKayeSierra (talk) 23:57, 20 March 2020 (UTC)

Blocked
[edit]{{unblock|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}}
. However, you should read the guide to appealing blocks first. Reminder to administrators: Community sanctions are enacted by community consensus. In order to overturn this block, you must either receive the approval of the blocking administrator or consensus at a community noticeboard (you may need to copy and paste their statement to a community noticeboard).

Request reason:
I'm really sorry. I heard it was April Fools and I got a little bit overexcited and decided to have some fun, and I realize now that making jokes about COVID-19 on Wikipedia for April Fools was crossing a line. I won't do this again, I promise.MadameButterflyKnife yeah sure.talk 16:55, 1 April 2020 (UTC)
Accept reason:
The block was removed by the blocking administrator. 331dot (talk) 20:11, 1 April 2020 (UTC)
We're going to need more than your promise that you won't decide to go off the rails again. What are you going to edit about? What steps will you take to control your excitement when you visit Wikipedia? 331dot (talk) 17:10, 1 April 2020 (UTC)
- I would like to do some copy edits and improving syntax of articles that I see need work on the Community Portal. To control my excitement, I will stop myself from interacting with any more of the April Fools and other humorous articles; I got caught up in the chaos of the edit war, and isolating myself from that environment would curb my excitement . MadameButterflyKnife yeah sure.talk 17:19, 1 April 2020 (UTC)
- @EvergreenFir:, what do you need to see to approve the removal of this block, if anything else? 331dot (talk) 18:29, 1 April 2020 (UTC)
- @331dot: I'm fine with this. I'll remove block. EvergreenFir (talk) 20:05, 1 April 2020 (UTC)
