As u were helpful in adding to the Rated R (Rihanna album) article's genre issue, would u mind adding to this discussion over the album's genre(s)? Dan56 (talk) 22:45, 23 March 2010 (UTC)
This album is not really most of those genres. Some of its songs seem to contain musical elements of rock and funk, which it samples/interpolates. But soul is rooted in gospel-style vocals and sound, and there are only two tracks that feature rapping (by guest artists). R&B would already cover the hip hop-influence of the album's sound/production/beats, as the genre incorporates elements of hip hop and soul. I just thought an album that has the majority of tracks R&B in sound and vocal-style, w/some tracks that contain only elements of other genre(s), should be labeled as R&B in the infobox. The issue with what musical elements over genre has been brought up in a lot of the articles Ive edited. Dan56 (talk) 07:57, 2 April 2010 (UTC)

The Greatest Hits 2002 (Anastacia)
[edit]Do you think The Greatest Hits 2002 (Anastacia) is a hoax?—Kww(talk) 00:14, 15 April 2010 (UTC)
- Most definitely a hoax. It's probably just some obscure bootleg. I have nominated it for deletion. Imperatore (talk) 00:26, 15 April 2010 (UTC)
- Yes! of course it's a hoax! she has only released 1 greatest hits album. MariAna_MiMi (Talk) 12:50, 15 April 2010 (UTC)

[edit]Please do not delete the paragraph in the lead. The lead should be a summary of what is in the article, and there for music, a summary of reception, music video, etc. See WP:LEAD for more. Candyo32 (talk) 11:28, 2 May 2010 (UTC)
Album article/user
[edit]A user on the Raymond v. Raymond article has been vandalizing the page, removing and replacing sourced material. Some of the chart info the user added is legit, but most of it is unstable/unarchived and is of no use to the statements he/she's trying to support. I have discussed his issues on the article's talk page but I think I am dealing with some fan of the album. (Article's history of the edits can be of use aswell) I dont want to cross the line with reverting anymore so I would appreciate your help with this matter. Dan56 (talk) 20:04, 10 May 2010 (UTC)
"Cover"
[edit]See cover version. A "cover" doesn't mean that someone provided a jacket illustration, it means that another group has released a version of the same song. It is nearly impossible for a future single to pass WP:NSONGS.—Kww(talk) 17:27, 16 May 2010 (UTC)

Kylie Minogue:Rare and Unreleased
[edit]You'll have to nominate it for AFD or put a {{prod}} tag on it. I'd try the prod first. I agree it should be deleted, but it doesn't meet any of the speedy categories so I can't just do it on my own.—Kww(talk) 21:50, 24 June 2010 (UTC)

[edit]hello there! my name is renato miguel and im 13 years old, im from portugal and im also a kylie minogue fan! tabloid review
[edit]I am trying to reach a consensus on my edits for the No Line on the Horizon article relating to reviews: about two reviews being replaced b/c of notability/professional-ism?, and a tabloid publication Herald Sun being used as a review in the rev-template and critical response section. Would u like to comment here? Dan56 (talk) 21:59, 3 July 2010 (UTC)

As already pointed out to you, the article does not belong to you and editing it does not mean you can continually revert the work of other people to restore your own version of the article simply because it places your musical heroes in a better light. Wikipedia is a group effort. If you persist in this kind of behaviour, you will find yourself being blocked for far longer than a month next time. 88.104.30.47 (talk) 22:27, 20 July 2010 (UTC) This is the final warning you will receive regarding your disruptive edits and continued problematic behaviour. They are redundant to the charts section because it already lists the charts at which it went to number one. General opinion is leaning towards their removal but everyone's feedback is welcome so a consensus can be reached. --Starcheerspeaksnewslostwars (talk) 22:10, 17 September 2010 (UTC) Hello, MariAna Mimi. I made 2 minor additions to the track listing of CD3 of http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/In_and_Out_of_Consciousness:_Greatest_Hits_1990–2010 noting that the last 2 tracks are only available as a Digital Download, the tracks do not appear on the physical CD. This was to clarify for anyone who may wish to have all the tracks and orders the Deluxe Boxset only to discover that the last two tracks are missing. So, my question to you is - why did you remove this information that I contributed? The source of the track listing is Amazon.com mp3 download version, not the physical CD/DVD media edition. Here Come the Girls is a tour by three singers so, as this is the Wikipedia, it's useful to know which were singer solos, so I don't think you should remove that part from that page. Besides that you changed "Ladies GaGa" to "Lady GaGa", but let me tell you, "Ladies GaGa" it's not the name of the singer but the name of the medley itself which contains Lady GaGa's hits. Thanks for your time. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Darkfreakxx7 (talk • contribs) 10:43, 24 November 2010 (UTC) Keri Hilson[edit]Hi there, I've noticed you've edited Keri Hilson's debut album article before. Bionic, Aguilera issue[edit]Since you've made recent contributions to this article, would you like to comment on an issue brought up recently? Dan56 (talk) 01:55, 26 March 2011 (UTC) Aphrodite World Tour[edit]Your edits to the Aphrodite World Tour article have been reverted on the basis of original research and neutrality. Wikipedia clearly states you must use sources beyond the primary source. You constantly refer to Kylie Minogue's website as your primary source stating "it's official", when it is not. Minogue's website it not firsthand news and will not be treated as such. Even though it may say one thing on Minogue's website, there are a variety of sources that will contradict that information (as far as locations), thus the majority should be acknowledged and not the minority. Furthermore, you constantly add the fan Facebook page for the tour, knowing Wikipedia does not allow information from blogs, fan sites or message boards to be used. Once again, this is not an official Facebook page and you will need to find reliable evidence if you want to prove it is official. Itsbydesign (talk) 10:25, 28 April 2011 (UTC)

A tag has been placed on Weddings, Barmitzvahs & Stadiums Tour requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about an organized event (tour, function, meeting, party, etc.) that does not credibly indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please read more about what is generally accepted as notable. If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator. » Shadowowl | talk 22:20, 12 July 2018 (UTC) |
