Ahmadiyya by Country

[edit]

Can you please post citations along with the figures you have edited on the Wikipedia page Ahmadiyya by Country. Estimations are not considered proper citation. Please refrain from editing if you are unable to provide proper and accurate citations for your exaggerated claims. Wikipedia is meant to be a place where people can learn and understand the truth. If you constantly delete the truth and replace it with false information, the learning environment can become undisciplined. Please post accurate citations for your exaggerated claims. Thank you very much. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Dolphin245 (talkcontribs) 14:17, 4 March 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Please read following links to discover that Ahmediyya is not a branch of Islam and hence they are not muslims. Moreover they are declared non muslims in the constitution of Pakistan. Do you you think that a whole country is fool to declare them as non muslims?

http://www.irshad.org/qadianism/differ.php

http://islam.stackexchange.com/questions/23296/why-do-sunni-muslims-say-that-ahmadis-are-not-muslims — Preceding unsigned comment added by A4speaker (talkcontribs) 09:21, 21 June 2016 (UTC)[reply]

@A4speaker: Irshad.org is not a neutral source, as it is an anti-Ahmadi site, and stack exchange is not reliable as it takes the shape of a forum. Regards.--Peaceworld 09:29, 21 June 2016 (UTC)[reply]

@Peaceworld111: I think constitution of some country will be written after much research and debate. Following is the link of constitution of Pakistan. www.na.gov.pk/uploads/documents/1333523681_951.pdf

You can see page 155 , article 260 (3 a and b) . I am copying here In the Constitution and all enactments and other legal instruments, unless there is anything repugnant in the subject or context (a) “Muslim” means a person who believes in the unity and oneness of Almighty Allah, in the absolute and unqualified finality of the Prophethood of Muhammad (peace be upon him), the last of the prophets, and does not believe in, or recognize as a prophet or religious reformer, any person who claimed or claims to be a prophet, in any sense of the word or of any description whatsoever, after Muhammad (peace be upon him); and (b) “non-Muslim” means a person who is not a Muslim and includes a person belonging to the Christian, Hindu, Sikh, Buddhist or Parsi community, a person of the Quadiani Group or the Lahori Group who call themselves ‘Ahmadis’ or by any other name or a Bahai, and a person belonging to any of the Scheduled Castes.

Do you need any other valid and neutral reference?

@A4speaker:Firstly, Pakistan's constitution is not a neutral source. Secondly, Wikipedia does not follow the policies of Pakistan. What Pakistani constitution says is solely the constitution of Pakistan. It has zero universal applications. Per MOS:Identity Ahmadis are Muslims anyway.--Peaceworld 10:32, 21 June 2016 (UTC)[reply]

@Peaceworld111: What about Quran? Muslims follow it 100 % and a person who says even 0.01% is wrong, he is not Muslim. Now Quran says

"O people! Muhammad has no sons among ye men, but verily, he is the Apostle of God and the last in the line of Prophets. And God is Aware of everything.

Muhammad is not the father of any of your men, but (he is) the Messenger of Allah, and the Seal of the Prophets: and Allah has full knowledge of all things. (The Holy Quran, Al-Ahzab 33:40)

Ahmedis deny this and consider Mirza Ghulam Ahmed Qadiani as last messenger of God.

Their false Prophet said in his book.

"And Allah sent down upon me the bounty of the Holy Prophet and made it perfect; and he drew towards me the kindness and generosity of the merciful Prophet, so that I became one with him. Thus, he who joins my group, joins the group of the companions (Sahaba) of my Leader, the best of messengers. It is not hidden from those who have the ability to think that this is what the words “Akhareen Menhom” (others of them) mean. The person who makes a difference between me and the Mustafa has neither seen me nor recognized me.“ Khutba-e-Ilhamiah, Roohani Khazain, Vol. 16, P. 258 – 259

If you don't consider this as evidence that they are non muslims than I think you are also Ahmadi.

@A4speaker: Religious scriptures, when and if they pass judgement on groups of people, determine only a perspective of those people who follow it. If the Christian Bible says that all non-Christians are doomed to hell, would you really write the following in the article Muslim: "A Muslim...relates to a person who follows the religion of Islam and is doomed to hell"?--Peaceworld 20:03, 21 June 2016 (UTC)[reply]

@Peaceworld111: If I start saying something against basic christian beliefs and start preaching my version of Christianity, what will Christians do to me? will that call me christian? Will they allow me to preach my new version of christianity? As per MOS:Identity, in case of any conflict, wikipedia will use the term that is used by community. Will that be applicable in above example I quoted? A very unrealistic MOS.

@A4speaker: Yes, many Christians will regard you as very un-Christian, but Wikipedia will not. A prime example is Mormonism. They are well regarded as non-Christian by large Christian groups, but Wikipedia has to call them a Christian movement. Next time could you sign your comments by using four tildes. Thanks.--Peaceworld 10:25, 22 June 2016 (UTC)[reply]

@Peaceworld111: I disagree with this illogical policy of wikipedia. As whole world relies on it for information, it should redefine MOS: Identity. How we can make them change this policy? Who to reach?User:A4speaker

Wikipedia library Newspapers.com renewal

[edit]

Your free one-year account with Newspapers.com will end on May 7 2016. Newspapers.com has offered to extend existing accounts by another year. If you wish to keep your account until May 7 2017, please add your name to the Account Renewal list here. I'll let Newspapers.com customer support know, and they will extend your subscription. If you don't want to keep your account for another year, you don't have to do anything. Your account will expire unless I hear from you that you want to keep it. Holy Quran Translations

[edit]

Salam brother. I have an idea, but I thought I should tell you first before I implement that idea. After seeing this Mormon page, I think our Holy Quran translations page should also list the selected verses, because as far as I know there's some language such as Latvia, Magyar, etc. which doesn't have the complete Holy Quran. How do you think? Jazakallah. Mbee-wiki (talk) 09:48, 4 October 2016 (UTC)[reply]

@Mbee-wiki: Walaikum Assalam. I think it's great idea, and should be listed in a separate section, much like the Mormon page you gave. --Peaceworld 14:25, 4 October 2016 (UTC)[reply]

New deal for page patrollers

[edit]

Hi Peaceworld111,

In order to better control the quality of new pages, keep out the spam, and welcome the genuine newbies, the current system we introduced in 2011 is being updated and improved. The documentation and tutorials have also been revised and given a facelift. Most importantly a new user group New Page Reviewer has been created.

Under the new rule, you may find that you are temporarily unable to mark new pages as reviewed. However, this is nothing to worry about - most current experienced patrollers are being accorded the the new right without the need to apply, and if you have significant previous experience of patrolling new pages, we strongly encourage you to apply for the new right as soon as possible - we need all the help we can get, and we are now providing a dynamic, supportive environment for your work.

Find out more about this exiting new user right now at New Page Reviewers and be sure to read the new tutorial before applying. MediaWiki message delivery (talk) 04:29, 13 November 2016 (UTC)[reply]
