Hey..
How are you doing? --Tito Dutta (talk) 12:03, 21 January 2013 (UTC)
- Hey Tito! I am very tensed. I was not here for 1 and a half months due to my exams and when I am back I have so much to do that I don't know from where to start. And except that I have been accused of copyright violation in three articles which I crated long back in last year. I am sorry for that and have to work on that too. Recently I also read a biography of Sarat Chandra Chattopadhyay and I have got some valuable information, so I want to expand Wiki's article on him. And the worst news is that my exams are again starting from 1 March 2013 so I hardly have 1 month. Phew!! By the way I would like to tell you that on 24 December 2012 I completed 1 full year on Wikipedia. --Tamravidhir (২০১২) 13:12, 21 January 2013 (UTC)
- Start with chaginf the link of "Bypass cache" to "User_talk:Tamravidhir?action=purge"
- You have been accused of copyvio! Where? Links?
- There is an essay of "Sarat Chandra Chattopadhyay" named Narir Mulyo, read that if you can! --Tito Dutta (talk) 13:17, 21 January 2013 (UTC)
- I did not understand how to change the "Bypass cache". By the way you mean "essay" of Sarat Chandra or "book on him". And you can see about the copyright violation issue by going to my talk page's sixth archive.--Tamravidhir (২০১২) 13:23, 21 January 2013 (UTC)
- Written by him! You'll get it in his complete works! --Tito Dutta (talk) 13:27, 21 January 2013 (UTC)
- I want to ask two things:
- How to change the bypass cache?
- I recently read about a fake article on Wiki in newspapers, titled "Bicholim Conflict". What was it about and how you all identified it? Who created it? Can I see somehow or the other see the article now? --Tamravidhir (২০১২) 13:33, 21 January 2013 (UTC)
- See if adding "?action=purge" helps!
- See Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Bicholim conflict and its talk page! --Tito Dutta (talk) 13:39, 21 January 2013 (UTC)
- Tito I read a protected copy of the article here! My good ness I would have really believed this article. My my! It's so horrifying. By the way were you able to track down the author or the creator of this hoax? --Tamravidhir (২০১২) 13:53, 21 January 2013 (UTC)
- Yes, they were warned! Forgot who! --Tito Dutta (talk) 14:03, 21 January 2013 (UTC)
- OK so can we do that thing you wanna do with the bypass cache because i can't understand how to do it? --Tamravidhir (২০১২) 14:08, 21 January 2013 (UTC)
- Done more or less. There is an easier way, which I can not remember now! --Tito Dutta (talk) 14:37, 21 January 2013 (UTC)
- Okay! Thank you! --Tamravidhir (২০১২) 14:40, 21 January 2013 (UTC)

Hi; sorry for the delay (we're always shorthanded at the Guild of Copy Editors), but I've begun copyediting your article. Just wanted to let you know that the plot summary seems too long (the recommended length is 700 words; I haven't done a word count, but it looks considerably longer), so I'll trim it. There are also a lot of red links; if you're planning on writing all those articles in the near future that's fine, but if not you may want to read the essay Write the article first and delink the red links which will not be bluelinked in the foreseeable future. I'll leave a note here when I'm done. All the best, Miniapolis 21:15, 9 March 2013 (UTC)
- I've finished the copyedit. The article is very good, but I suggest that before you renominate it for GA inline citations to secondary WP:RS be included. Good luck and all the best, Miniapolis 15:32, 10 March 2013 (UTC)

Orphaned non-free image File:Maa Kali and Maa Durga in Devon Ke Dev...Mahadev.jpg
Thanks for uploading File:Maa Kali and Maa Durga in Devon Ke Dev...Mahadev.jpg. The image description page currently specifies that the image is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, the image is currently not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the image was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that images for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).
Note that any non-free images not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described in the criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. Redtigerxyz Talk 11:43, 21 July 2013 (UTC)

We only use reliably published sources with a reputation for fact checking and accuracy. We are creating an encyclopedia and not a fan page or celebrity gossip article. -- TRPoD aka The Red Pen of Doom 12:12, 8 April 2014 (UTC)
- It's sad that you boast about WP:RS and don't know that news articles are reliable sources (check Wikipedia:RS#News_organizations). Please instead of apparently going through the article please read it. What you are doing is vandalism. Thank you. --Tamravidhir (talk) 12:15, 8 April 2014 (UTC)
- just because someone calls themselves a "news" site does not mean they are one or meet the Wikipedia reliable sources. Please stop turning the Wikipedia article into a giant promotional blurb and fan page . -- TRPoD aka The Red Pen of Doom 12:29, 8 April 2014 (UTC)
- Please calm down and go through the articles once again. The websites are official websites of well reputed newspapers and they are are encyclopaedic as far as the rules of Wikipedia are concerned. They are as reliable as the sun and the moon. I hope you understand. Thank you! --Tamravidhir (talk) 12:33, 8 April 2014 (UTC)
- i have gone through the article and the supposed sources step by step cleaning up your mess multiple times. and will apparently need to continue to do so to restore some semblance of an encyclopedia rather than a fan page/advertisement. For an easy example, Wikipedia is NOT a TV guide and should not be including timeslots. -- TRPoD aka The Red Pen of Doom 12:45, 8 April 2014 (UTC)
- another blatant impropriety is where you TWICE make a claim that the music is lifted from a different film without providing any sources at all. -- TRPoD aka The Red Pen of Doom 12:49, 8 April 2014 (UTC)
- The opening credits of the show are themselves refrences and could you please point out that where it is written that time slots can't be added. --Tamravidhir (talk) 12:52, 8 April 2014 (UTC)
- The opening credits are only acceptable sources for what the opening credits explicitly state - you cannot extrapolate and compare to what you have heard at a different show. Without third party coverage giving a whole section to the theme song is WP:UNDUE weight. -- TRPoD aka The Red Pen of Doom 12:57, 8 April 2014 (UTC)

In the article the section is of the music of the soap opera under the production section and it is not undue weight. And what do you mean by "you cannot extrapolate and compare to what you have heard at a different show" Please elucidate. --Tamravidhir (talk) 13:01, 8 April 2014 (UTC)
- it is absolutely undue weight if no third parties have bothered to mention anything about the music and you are creating a full section based solely on the primary source material. -- TRPoD aka The Red Pen of Doom 13:04, 8 April 2014 (UTC)
- Fine let that section be removed. --Tamravidhir (talk) 13:08, 8 April 2014 (UTC)

As for the tone issues, there are
- the above mentioned Television guide promotional blazing of the air time
- the overabundance of quotes from involved parties
- such wonderful nuggets as "Kapoor had to introduce the five-year leap" (oh really? had to because of a court order? had to because of a gun to her head? ) and then there's "However the team landed in trouble" and this gem straight from an advertiser's promotional copy pen "even several generation leaps but nothing can dwindle their love, as finally after every problem, whether it is severe or minuscule, they are always united". -- TRPoD aka The Red Pen of Doom 13:48, 8 April 2014 (UTC)
- No as per WP:RS quotes with reliable sources can be added and "even several generation leaps but nothing can dwindle their love, as finally after every problem, whether it is severe or minuscule, they are always united" is a part of the plot and a basic story outline. It can be added please go through the article I suggested. And secondly, please mind your tongue, if you want to resolve a dispute you can't talk in such a tone. There's a decency. --Tamravidhir (talk) 11:58, 9 April 2014 (UTC)
- No, Wikipedia:V#Verifiability_does_not_guarantee_inclusion - insertion of copyright promotional hype for example. -- TRPoD aka The Red Pen of Doom 12:00, 29 April 2014 (UTC)

Edit warring caution
I have told you at my talk page about WP:3RR and edit warring. I must now notify you officially that if you revert on that article one more time, you may be blocked for edit warring. You may not revert more than three times, partially or completely, even if you think the other person is wrong, unless your case is one of the rare exceptions explained at the rule. This isn't. While people can be blocked for edit warring even if they don't do this, this is a "bright line" rule that cannot be crossed. This is not okay, and you need to stop right now. --Moonriddengirl (talk) 13:05, 8 April 2014 (UTC)
- Because I want to be sure you see this, I am telling you here as well as at my talk page. It's not just a copy, though. :)
- My goal would never be to make you feel bad. You are a very good editor who cares quite a lot about Wikipedia. We're lucky to have you. As I said at my talk page, it's because you care that you got upset, and this is something that happens sometimes to all of us. Most of the time, it isn't an emergency when people do things we disagree with (even if we disagree very much), and we can take the time to work it out with them on the talk page of the article. If you can't agree there, you can ask other people to help decide. I'm grateful to you for stopping to reflect on your dispute and putting an obvious effort into working with him, and I know you will be careful about this going forward, because I know how important it is to you to do things correctly. I would not want this to discourage you from continuing, but would only hope that it will help you avoid these conflicts in the future. You are much needed on Wikipedia, and while these conflicts can be discouraging, they are fortunately rare. --Moonriddengirl (talk) 13:48, 8 April 2014 (UTC)

false edit summaries
please do not give false edit summaries as you did here [1] . Every edit in fact had a summary (repeated from the first several times the edits were made) celeb gossip web pages like bollywoodlife are still not reliable sources, we dont participate in the rumor mill, especially when the rumors are known to be false, we dont participate in promotional gossip of the tourist board using empty promotional phrasing such as "iconic" etc. we dont lift promotional phrasing from sources, and particularly dont violate WP:COPYRIGHT/plagiarize by not attributing when we steal phrasing.
We are writing an encyclopedia, not a fansite, celebrity gossip page, or promotional material for the show. -- TRPoD aka The Red Pen of Doom 12:07, 1 May 2014 (UTC)

Replaceable fair use File:Bade Acche Lagte Hain Cast (Last Shoot).jpg
Thanks for uploading File:Bade Acche Lagte Hain Cast (Last Shoot).jpg. I noticed that this file is being used under a claim of fair use. However, I think that the way it is being used fails the first non-free content criterion. This criterion states that files used under claims of fair use may have no free equivalent; in other words, if the file could be adequately covered by a freely-licensed file or by text alone, then it may not be used on Wikipedia. If you believe this file is not replaceable, please:
- Go to the file description page and add the text
{{di-replaceable fair use disputed|<your reason>}}
below the original replaceable fair use template, replacing<your reason>
with a short explanation of why the file is not replaceable. - On the file discussion page, write a full explanation of why you believe the file is not replaceable.
Alternatively, you can also choose to replace this non-free media item by finding freely licensed media of the same subject, requesting that the copyright holder release this (or similar) media under a free license, or by creating new media yourself (for example, by taking your own photograph of the subject).
If you have uploaded other non-free media, consider checking that you have specified how these media fully satisfy our non-free content criteria. You can find a list of description pages you have edited by clicking on this link. Note that even if you follow steps 1 and 2 above, non-free media which could be replaced by freely licensed alternatives will be deleted 2 days after this notification (7 days if uploaded before 13 July 2006), per the non-free content policy. If you have any questions, please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. --Mdann52talk to me! 12:34, 10 July 2014 (UTC)

Disambiguation link notification for July 12
Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited Yudh (TV series), you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Zakir Hussain. Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

Content requires sources
Please stop adding unsourced content, as you did to Bade Achhe Lagte Hain. This contravenes Wikipedia's policy on verifiability. If you continue to do so, you may be blocked from editing Wikipedia.
You may NOT keep reinserting your personal interpretations of "sporadic" or "very late" without providing a reliably published source that verifies the claim. -- TRPoD aka The Red Pen of Doom 12:27, 17 July 2014 (UTC)
- TRPoD you might have forgotten that there is something known as a citation needed tag. If anything is unsourced that doesn't mean that the info has to be deleted. That is partial vandalism and if it wouldn't have been so there wouldn't have been any cn tag. If suppose an article on Krishna says that he was the son of Devaki and there is no reference would you delete that? --Tamravidhir (talk) 14:32, 17 July 2014 (UTC)
- And I guess that the reference for the time slot is given and as far as common sense is concerned 10:30 is late evening if you disagree please ask any human being living in this world be it a grade 1 child. Please be logical. --Tamravidhir (talk) 14:34, 17 July 2014 (UTC)
- And how come the fact that the time slot was replaced by Yudh is irrelevant? And isn't there a proper reference? Now could you please tell that on what basis is it irrelevant? --Tamravidhir (talk) 14:35, 17 July 2014 (UTC)
- For instance see this article, The Simpsons. The lead paragraph has many information which is unsourced does that mean that it should be deleted? I think it's time for you to realise that your dominating and dogmatic attitude will not help you in Wikipedia. It's high time especially when you are engaging in WP:BITE. --Tamravidhir (talk) 14:47, 17 July 2014 (UTC)

Disambiguation link notification for September 5
Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited Taj Hotels Resorts and Palaces, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Indian Institute of Hotel Management. Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

Jagadhatri/Tamravidhir
If I understood your request correctly, you want the contributions of "Jagadhatri" under "Tamravidhir". I can't do it as that would be merging accounts. I can only rename an account to a name that does not already exist. From the account creation log, you may have had the old global cookie still active, which ended up in you being logged in automatically as Jagadhatri. I could rename Jagadhatri to something random, but my advice would be to just leave it alone. Maxim(talk) 23:38, 2 October 2014 (UTC)
- I understand, so does it mean that the contributions of Jagadhatri can't moved to those under Tamravidhir (however as far as I remember when my account was renamed the contributions of Jagadhatri was moved to Tamravidhir)? Will it be okay to just leave it like that? Is there no way to move the contributions? Is it same for Commons too? :/ --Tamravidhir (talk) 10:53, 3 October 2014 (UTC)
- It is the same for Commons. There's no problem in leaving it as is. I can rename Jagadhatri to something, but the name must not be already taken. Maxim(talk) 13:10, 4 October 2014 (UTC)
