Image tagging for Image:Leo (70s show).png
[edit]Thanks for uploading Image:Leo (70s show).png. The image has been identified as not specifying the source and creator of the image, which is required by Wikipedia's policy on images. If you don't indicate the source and creator of the image on the image's description page, it may be deleted some time in the next seven days. If you have uploaded other images, please verify that you have provided source information for them as well.
For more information on using images, see the following pages:

[edit]Thanks for uploading Image:Vlcsnap-9782385.png. I noticed that the file's description page currently doesn't specify who created the content, so the copyright status is unclear. If you did not create this file yourself, then you will need to specify the owner of the copyright. If you obtained it from a website, then a link to the website from which it was taken, together with a restatement of that website's terms of use of its content, is usually sufficient information. However, if the copyright holder is different from the website's publisher, then their copyright should also be acknowledged.
As well as adding the source, please add a proper copyright licensing tag if the file doesn't have one already. If you created/took the picture, audio, or video then the {{GFDL-self}} tag can be used to release it under the GFDL. If you believe the media meets the criteria at Wikipedia:Fair use, use a tag such as {{non-free fair use in|article name}} or one of the other tags listed at Wikipedia:Image copyright tags#Fair use. See Wikipedia:Image copyright tags for the full list of copyright tags that you can use.
If you have uploaded other files, consider checking that you have specified their source and tagged them, too. You can find a list of files you have uploaded by following this link. Unsourced and untagged images may be deleted one week after they have been tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If the image is copyrighted under a non-free license (per Wikipedia:Fair use) then the image will be deleted 48 hours after 17:29, 16 July 2007 (UTC). If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. Yamla 17:29, 16 July 2007 (UTC)
Fair use rationale for Image:Vlcsnap-9782385.png
[edit]Thanks for uploading or contributing to Image:Vlcsnap-9782385.png. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in Wikipedia articles constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use. Suggestions on how to do so can be found here.
Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to ensure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.
If you have uploaded other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on those pages too. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that any non-free media lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. Yamla 17:29, 16 July 2007 (UTC)

Fair use disputed for Image:New laurie.png
[edit]Thanks for uploading Image:New laurie.png. However, there is a concern that the rationale you have provided for using this image under "fair use" may be invalid. Please read the instructions at Wikipedia:Non-free content carefully, then go to the image description page and clarify why you think the image qualifies for fair use. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to ensure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.
If it is determined that the image does not qualify under fair use, it will be deleted within a couple of days according to our Criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.BetacommandBot 05:22, 16 September 2007 (UTC)

[edit]Thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia. It appears that you recently copied the contents of a page and pasted it into another with a different name. Specifically, you copied the contents of Miss/Guided This is what we call a "cut and paste move", and it is very undesirable because it splits the article's history, which is needed for attribution and is helpful in many other ways. The mechanism we use for renaming articles is to move it to a new name which both preserves the page's history and automatically creates a redirect from the old title to the new. In most cases, you should be able to move an article yourself using the "Move" tab at the top of the page. If there is an article that you cannot move yourself by this process, follow the instructions at Wikipedia:Requested moves to request the move by another. Also, if there are any other articles that you copied and pasted, even if it was a long time ago, please list them at Wikipedia:Cut and paste move repair holding pen. Thank you. --Bongwarrior (talk) 04:54, 19 March 2008 (UTC)

[edit]An excellent choice for the header picture on the Steve Irwin article, but I felt it was just too flat and two-dimensional to properly represent such a three dimensional charecter as Steve. dimo414 (talk) 20:17, 4 June 2008 (UTC)
Orphaned non-free media (File:Kath kim logo.gif)
[edit]Thanks for uploading File:Kath kim logo.gif. The media description page currently specifies that it is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, it is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the media was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that media for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).
If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that all non-free media not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. BJBot (talk) 05:15, 1 March 2009 (UTC)

Family Guy total episode number
[edit]I saw the same thing on you on twitter that said 19, however thats not a concrete number, as there were 22 production season 6 episodes and they obviously all didn't air in one season. Anyways she didn't include something, something, something darkside in her count anyways so it should be 20-21 episodes this season depending if you count the hour long star wars episode as one or two episodes. So that 19 that was given on twitter is nothing concrete as its basically up to FOX and how they decide to schedule the show that will ultimately determine how many episodes air this season, since if a lot comes up this year maybe only 16 of those 19 will air etc...Grande13 (talk) 11:16, 11 September 2009 (UTC)

Cleveland Show in New Zealand
[edit]My understanding was always, the standard for episode placement on a list is based on the actual date on which it debuts, which would put it where I put it. I'd be ready for some resistance on that one if I were you (just not from me...life's too short). KnownAlias contact 01:54, 28 April 2010 (UTC)
- But you also changed the episode number from 15 to 20. Which is completely incorrect... Wattlebird (talk) 01:56, 28 April 2010 (UTC)
- Actually, that's where the debate kicks in. "Once Upon a Tyne in New York" was the 15th episode in the US. So you're saying New Zealand's #15 takes precedence over America's? KnownAlias contact 02:11, 28 April 2010 (UTC)
- No - it was intended to air as 15 but FOX decided not to air it. Look at List of Eastwick episodes, ABC skipped episode 11 and aired episode 12 as 11. However the wikipedia article lists the episodes in their INTENDED order - which is what im trying to do here. Wattlebird (talk) 02:15, 28 April 2010 (UTC)
- Fair arguement, but one logic that could have been behind that was that it was a serialized show that was specifically intended to run in that specific order, whereas Cleveland, as well as all of the Fox cartoons, can be aired in whatever order the network chooses, as there is no chronological plot. Whatever, man. I'm just saying you might catch flak on this one. But it ain't my fight. Happy editing. KnownAlias contact 02:24, 28 April 2010 (UTC)

Fair use rationale for File:Bigbangthoery originatitlecard.jpg
[edit]Thanks for uploading or contributing to File:Bigbangthoery originatitlecard.jpg. I notice the file page specifies that the file is being used under fair use but there is not a suitable explanation or rationale as to why each specific use in Wikipedia constitutes fair use. You currently appear to be engaged in an edit war according to the reverts you have made on CSI: Crime Scene Investigation. Users who edit disruptively or refuse to collaborate with others may be blocked if they continue. In particular the three-revert rule states that making more than three reversions on a single page within a 24-hour period is almost always grounds for an immediate block. If you find yourself in an editing dispute, use the talk page to discuss controversial changes. Work towards wording and content that gains consensus among editors. If unsuccessful then do not edit war even if you believe you are right. Post a request for help at an appropriate noticeboard or seek dispute resolution. In some cases it may be appropriate to request temporary page protection. If edit warring continues, you may be blocked from editing without further notice. Escape Orbit (Talk) 22:45, 16 October 2010 (UTC)

License tagging for File:Four nz logo.jpg
[edit]Thanks for uploading File:Four nz logo.jpg. You don't seem to have indicated the license status of the image. Wikipedia uses a set of image copyright tags to indicate this information; to add a tag to the image, select the appropriate tag from this list, click on this link, then click "Edit this page" and add the tag to the image's description. If there doesn't seem to be a suitable tag, the image is probably not appropriate for use on Wikipedia.
For help in choosing the correct tag, or for any other questions, leave a message on Wikipedia:Media copyright questions. Thank you for your cooperation. --ImageTaggingBot (talk) 00:07, 20 October 2010 (UTC)
Orphaned non-free image File:Four nz logo.jpg
[edit]Thanks for uploading File:Four nz logo.jpg. The image description page currently specifies that the image is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, the image is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the image was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that images for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).
If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of "file" pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "File" from the dropdown box. Season split
[edit]Please stop splitting these, they are premature, you're cannibalizing the other articles just so you can have something on the new article. Season pages should be created for only two reasons, 1) the main article gets to big, 2) the episode list gets to big. Neither of those two is the case at this point. There is no "it's renewed for a second season so we need to create a season article". Xeworlebi (talk) 13:05, 19 May 2011 (UTC)
- What's the point in removing the article now if it's just going to be re-created in a few months time? Besides, with your reverts you are removing information that isn't on the other pages. And its not "cannibalizing the other articles", it's moving information to a place where it is better suited. Wattlebird (talk) 13:09, 19 May 2011 (UTC)
- They won't be (or shouldn't be) recreated in a few months. There's no need for them. The episode list tends to get too long around four seasons, depending on the level of episode summaries, so that would take 4 more years. The main article is currently fairly poor, removing valid information from it just so you can validate the new article is cannibalizing it. And it's not to long, by a long shot. This split is premature and it lowers the quality of the current articles. Xeworlebi (talk) 13:13, 19 May 2011 (UTC)
- The reverts you are doing on the main article is only adding four lines of text to it. So why are you reverting that then? Does four lines REALLY make a difference? Wattlebird (talk) 13:18, 19 May 2011 (UTC)
- Not particularly relevant, but besides introducing some errors, a unneeded table, removing 5 paragraphs, several hundreds of words, yes removing correct and valid information makes a difference to the quality of the article. Xeworlebi (talk) 13:25, 19 May 2011 (UTC)

You currently appear to be engaged in an edit war. Users are expected to collaborate with others and avoid editing disruptively.
In particular, the three-revert rule states that:
- Making more than three reversions on a single page within a 24-hour period is almost always grounds for an immediate block.
- Do not edit war even if you believe you are right.
If you find yourself in an editing dispute, use the article's talk page to discuss controversial changes; work towards a version that represents consensus among editors. You can post a request for help at an appropriate noticeboard or seek dispute resolution. In some cases it may be appropriate to request temporary page protection. If you continue to edit war, you may be blocked from editing without further notice. Xeworlebi (talk) 13:25, 19 May 2011 (UTC)

Scrubs production codes
[edit]Hey, just wanted to stop by and say good job on the correcting of the production codes for season 8 of Scrubs. That's a fantastic source and you can't get anymore official than that. I went and checked out the other seasons, and made a few fixes per the source. That's a really helpful resource for these types of things, especially for shows which don't feature production codes in the end credits, because it's pretty hard finding them otherwise. Anyway, just wanted to say thanks and good job! Drovethrughosts (talk) 14:17, 25 April 2012 (UTC)

License tagging for File:Happyendings s2dvd.png
[edit]Thanks for uploading File:Happyendings s2dvd.png. You don't seem to have indicated the license status of the image. Wikipedia uses a set of image copyright tags to indicate this information.
To add a tag to the image, select the appropriate tag from this list, click on this link, then click "Edit this page" and add the tag to the image's description. If there doesn't seem to be a suitable tag, the image is probably not appropriate for use on Wikipedia. For help in choosing the correct tag, or for any other questions, leave a message on Wikipedia:Media copyright questions. 3RR violation on The New Normal
[edit]Your recent editing history at The New Normal shows that you are currently engaged in an edit war. Being involved in an edit war can result in your being blocked from editing—especially if you violate the three-revert rule, which states that an editor must not perform more than three reverts on a single page within a 24-hour period. Undoing another editor's work—whether in whole or in part, whether involving the same or different material each time—counts as a revert. Also keep in mind that while violating the three-revert rule often leads to a block, you can still be blocked for edit warring—even if you don't violate the three-revert rule—should your behavior indicate that you intend to continue reverting repeatedly.
To avoid being blocked, instead of reverting please consider using the article's talk page to work toward making a version that represents consensus among editors. See BRD for how this is done. You can post a request for help at a relevant noticeboard or seek dispute resolution. In some cases, you may wish to request temporary page protection. --Drmargi (talk) 17:52, 10 November 2012 (UTC)

If you speak up now, you will likely be blocked for a longer period - we have very explicit rules about what you are doing, after all - but you'd be able to return after that.

January 2014
[edit]Constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, but your recent edits appear to be intentional disruptions designed to illustrate a point. Edits designed for the deliberate purpose of drawing opposition, including making edits you do not agree with or enforcing a rule in a generally unpopular way, are highly disruptive and can lead to a block or ban. If you feel that a policy is problematic, the policy's talk page is the proper place to raise your concerns. If you simply disagree with someone's actions in an article, discuss it on the article talk page or, if direct discussion fails, through dispute resolution. If consensus strongly disagrees with you even after you have made proper efforts, then respect the consensus, rather than trying to sway it with disruptive tactics. Season 11 & 12 dispute
[edit]I have started up a discussion on the American Dad! talk page here Season 11 & 12 dispute, so we can get the feedback of other users as to this matter. Policy-breaking at American Dad! article

Mindy Project Season 4 Episodes
[edit]Besides the issue of episode order for episodes 15 and 16, I added the final episodes of the series with some basic information that has already been released, which you completely removed with total disregard to how much effort I put in. That was brash and completely uncalled for. I used multiple sources and references to back up my findings, which are now all completely lost. Also, I did read the talk page before making my edits. The article Tooken (disambiguation) has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:
A disambiguation page is not required. The primary topic article has a hatnote to the other possible use.
While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons.
You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}}
notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.
Please consider improving the page to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}}
will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion.
This bot DID NOT nominate any of your contributions for deletion; please refer to the history of each individual page for details. Thanks, FastilyBot (talk) 10:00, 23 January 2024 (UTC)
