Mary Garritt
[edit]A proposed deletion template has been added to the article Mary Garritt, suggesting that it be deleted according to the proposed deletion process. All contributions are appreciated, but this article may not satisfy Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and the deletion notice should explain why (see also "What Wikipedia is not" and Wikipedia's deletion policy). You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{dated prod}}
notice, but please explain why you disagree with the proposed deletion in your edit summary or on its talk page. Also, please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Even though removing the deletion notice will prevent deletion through the proposed deletion process, the article may still be deleted if it matches any of the speedy deletion criteria or it can be sent to Articles for Deletion, where it may be deleted if consensus to delete is reached. If you agree with the deletion of the article, and you are the only person who has made substantial edits to the page, please add {{db-author}} to the top of Mary Garritt. Notability of Jamie Clarke (headteacher)
[edit]A tag has been placed on Jamie Clarke (headteacher) requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done because the article appears to be about a person, group of people, band, club, company, or web content, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is notable: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, articles that do not assert the subject's importance or significance may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable.
If you think that you can assert the notability of the subject, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}}
to the top of the page (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on the article's talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the article meets the criterion it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the article that would confirm the subject's notability under Wikipedia guidelines.
For guidelines on specific types of articles, you may want to check out our criteria for biographies, for web sites, for bands, or for companies. Feel free to leave a note on my talk page if you have any questions about this. --lifebaka (Talk - Contribs) 18:10, 10 December 2007 (UTC)
European records
[edit]Being on another article doesn't necessarily mean it is a good idea. The WikiProject Football Manual of Style has no place for such these contents, and I personally think this content should instead be featured in Liverpool F.C. in Europe. In any case, please discuss the inclusion in the talk page if you really think this information is worth to stay in the main article. Thank you. --Angelo (talk) 19:26, 10 December 2007 (UTC)

Notability of Country Lion
[edit]A tag has been placed on Country Lion requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done because the article appears to be about a real person, organization (band, club, company, etc.), or web content, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is notable: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, articles that do not indicate the subject's importance or significance may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable. If this is the first page that you have created, then you should read the guide to writing your first article.
If you think that you can assert the notability of the subject, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}}
to the top of the page (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on the article's talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the article meets the criterion it may be deleted without delay. Speedy deletion of Template:England national football team captains
[edit]A tag has been placed on Template:England national football team captains requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section T3 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because it is a deprecated or orphaned template. After seven days, if it is still unused and the speedy deletion tag has not been removed, the template will be deleted.
If the template is intended to be substituted, please feel free to remove the speedy deletion tag and please consider putting a note on the template's page indicating that it is substituted so as to avoid any future mistakes.
Thanks. --MZMcBride (talk) 03:50, 3 February 2008 (UTC)
Lewis Hamilton
[edit]Sorry, but I do not remember adding new sections to this article and unfortunately this does not mention that particular record. The source that mentions it says "a feat no driver has come close to in their debut season" although does not mention who had the most consecutive podiums from the start of its career. I've checked a few record database and there is no mention of that kind of record, so maybe if there is no sources mentioning who is second, it should only mention his record without mentioning who had that record before. --JForget 02:02, 16 March 2008 (UTC)

I noticed your chnages to List of Formula One Grands Prix got reverted... the information you added is certainly useful, but that wasn't the best place for it. Might I suggest adding it to the individual season articles instead? Tompw (talk) (review) 19:40, 14 October 2008 (UTC)
Re: R.E.M.
[edit]They didn't appear in the box. Besides, I added them a while ago only for the article/template owner to decide singles shouldn't be included in it. Policies change almost weekly, so if you want to re-add them, go ahead. I'll fix the code if it doesn't work next time. - Dudesleeper / Talk 13:50, 1 January 2009 (UTC)
Hi Will. I haven't worked on this article at all, so I'm not really up-to-date on the WEG. I've added one external link to the article, and I'm sure you could find some more information by doing a quick Google search. I'll also add the article to my "to-do" list to see if I can do some expansion and referencing. Dana boomer (talk) 18:40, 9 February 2009 (UTC)
Proposed deletion of Andranik Adamyan
[edit]A proposed deletion template has been added to the article Andranik Adamyan, suggesting that it be deleted according to the proposed deletion process because of the following concern:
- Has been unsourced for 3 months, fails the sourcing requirement at WP:BLP
All contributions are appreciated, but this article may not satisfy Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and the deletion notice should explain why (see also "What Wikipedia is not" and Wikipedia's deletion policy). You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{dated prod}}
notice, but please explain why you disagree with the proposed deletion in your edit summary or on its talk page.

Unreferenced BLPs
[edit]Hello WilliamF1! Thank you for your contributions. I am a bot alerting you that 2 of the articles that you created are tagged as Unreferenced Biographies of Living Persons. The biographies of living persons policy requires that all personal or potentially controversial information be sourced. In addition, to ensure verifiability, all biographies should be based on reliable sources. If you were to bring these articles up to standards, it would greatly help us with the current 198 article backlog. Once the articles are adequately referenced, please remove the {{unreferencedBLP}} tag. Here is the list:
- Mihail Verhejenka - Find sources: Google (books · news · scholar · free images · WP refs) · FENS · JSTOR · TWL
- Souren Barseghyan - Find sources: Google (books · news · scholar · free images · WP refs) · FENS · JSTOR · TWL

The article Mihail Verhejenka has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:
- Non-notable football manager - can't find any reliable sources - unreferenced BLP since 2007
While all contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.
You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{dated prod}}
notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.
Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{dated prod}}
will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. The speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. Gobonobo T C 05:00, 5 July 2010 (UTC)

Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page.
