Image is missing author and source. Copy on Commons was deleted due to missing licensing information. Ixfd64 (talk) 22:04, 12 October 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Picture must have been taken prior to 1908, finding the original author is unlikely as it is a family portrait. A cropped version exist [1] on commons with info. Link to source of picture there is dead. Nidarista (talk) 23:35, 12 October 2021 (UTC)[reply]

The result of the discussion was: Procedural close, not actionable. Assuming an WP:NFCC#3a violation exists, it's not clear from the nomination statement which one should be deleted. If this is purely a discussion about which image would better represent the article's subject in the infobox, then this is an editorial matter which should first be discussed on the talk page of the affected article(s). -FASTILY 02:15, 21 October 2021 (UTC)[reply]

File:Somewhere Down the Crazy River by Robbie Robertson Canadian vinyl.png (delete | talk | history | links | logs) – uploaded by George Ho (notify | contribs | uploads | upload log).

I recently replaced the JPEG version of a side-A label of the Canadian vinyl release of Somewhere Down the Crazy River with the PNG one. Then, to please everyone, including cover art enthusiasts, I uploaded the picture sleeve that was used in many, if not most, non-Canadian releases. I've been worried about whether using both images comply with WP:NFCC#3a. If it doesn't, then I guess one of them shall be kept.

The song was written and sung by Canadian musician Robbie Robertson but didn't perform well in Canadian charts. It performed better in Belgium, the Netherlands, New Zealand, and the UK. It was also listed in one US rock chart. I figured that the Canadian vinyl would represent him, the song, and the Canadians well. However, I've not yet seen a Canadian single release use any picture sleeve but rather generic instead. If a cover art can represent the song better, then let's use the cover art. However, I also want the song to be more well represented by a release distributed to its home country. I'm still torn. George Ho (talk) 22:07, 12 October 2021 (UTC)[reply]

India as a similar threshold of originality as the United States. However, the 3D effects likely put this logo above the ToO in the U.S. as well. Ixfd64 (talk) 23:03, 12 October 2021 (UTC)[reply]

I uploaded the Australian single and then the UK single as intended replacements for this Yugoslavian picture sleeve, which I'm nominating here. Since WP:NFCC#3a applies, I would like either Australian and/or UK singles to take over and have the Yugoslavian release deleted instead. The song was sung by British-Australian singer Olivia Newton-John. George Ho (talk) 23:54, 12 October 2021 (UTC)[reply]

I uploaded this Australian single release to replace the Yugoslavian one. It's tagged as non-free, so I wonder whether the logo of "Interfusion" is eligible for US copyright. If so, does it meet WP:NFCC? Furthermore, I also uploaded the UK single as free to use in Commons. George Ho (talk) 23:58, 12 October 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Almost forgot: Threshold of originality is very low in Australia. It may be copyrightable in Australia per c:COM:TOO Australia. George Ho (talk) 23:59, 14 October 2021 (UTC)[reply]
