- Supporting evidence:
A number of brand-new accounts have been edit-warring at USS Liberty Incident, trying to introduce the Moorer report as proof of a conspiracy behind the attack on the Liberty. An editor in the ANI discussion has suggested that the set of three new edit-warring accounts which share a common viewpoint might be evidence of socking. I've added WorldFacts to his list. This article was recently submitted at WP:RFPP for full protection, and I argued that we might consider trying to identify the edit warriors, and block them if they would not participate in normal discussion on the Talk page. Between them, these accounts have edited the article 11 times since November 1, tending to introduce the same material each time. Click all the 'contribs' links above to see the narrowness of their interests. These accounts appear sophisticated and use WP acronyms freely. What a coincidence that they should all arrive at this article at the same time! EdJohnston (talk) 22:31, 14 November 2008 (UTC)
Unrelated but a serious look needs to be taken at meatpuppeting and SPA violations. — Rlevse • Talk • 15:59, 15 November 2008 (UTC)
