User Dunkmack9 was indef-blocked per consensus at ANI on January 21. This new account was created on January 26 and immediately begins inserting conspiracy theories in articles. The material on Hess is sourced to the same book Dunkmack9 was using. Sample diffs: Diff of Memory conformity; Diff of Rudolf Hess; Diff of J. Robert Oppenheimer Dianna (talk) 16:47, 26 January 2013 (UTC)[reply]

New account Deerlight was created four or five days after the most recent sock was blocked. There's a four-article overlap in editing, quite a bit considering Deerlight has only 35 edits. Recent diffs: Diff of Rudolf Hess: inserts the same conspiracy theory using the same source as Dunkmack9; Diff of Operation Frantic: the new account adds the same information that Dunkmack9 had inserted in August 2011. Users have a four-article overlap (Day of Deceit, Rudolf Hess, Complex regional pain syndrome, and Archie McKellar, quite a bit considering they both have less than 200 edits. Both promote the same conspiracy theories.

I agree with Ponyo that a DUCK block of Grapestomper9 is most appropriate on behavioral grounds. The evidence is very compelling, being such an an unusual combination of article interests. Binksternet (talk) 20:55, 4 October 2013 (UTC)[reply]

I blocked Mgabeltdrive (talk · contribs) as a sock. Is the master Grapestomper (talk · contribs) or Grapestomper9 (talk · contribs)? Mark Arsten (talk) 19:59, 4 October 2013 (UTC)[reply]

New account with 24 edits has a three-topic overlap with the sockmaster (Oppenheimer, Ernest Lawrence, and Pearl Harbor advance-knowledge conspiracy theory). He uses the same book as a source for edits: edit by Dunkmack9; edit by Birdseyemaple. The tone of talk page posts is similar, particularly when he makes comments about his fellow editors: sock Grapestomper9 on Talk:Day of Deceit; Birdseyemaple Talk:Pearl Harbor advance-knowledge conspiracy theory. These abusive comments are what prompted the filing of this report. Diannaa (talk) 13:28, 3 November 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Raisinpie has two articles in common with Dunkmack9, Pearl Harbor advance-knowledge conspiracy theory and M. F. Husain. On the Pearl Harbor article, the content he is trying to add is different, but the aggressive tone of the talk page posts and the edit warring are similar. On the Husain article, both editors added information about an exhibit the artist gave in 1964: Diff by Raisinpie; Diff by Dunkmack9. Raisinpie has one article in common with sock Grapestomper9, Military-industrial complex, both are the addition of unsourced material about Eisenhower: Diff by Raisinpie; Diff diff by Grapestomper9. The account was created on November 4, 2013, the day after the most recent sock (User:Birdseyemaple) was blocked. Diannaa (talk) 16:02, 1 February 2014 (UTC)[reply]

  • Both Dunkmack9 and Raisinpie share an interest in the Oakland Tribune newspaper and their owners, the Knowland family. In this edit, Dunkmack9 demonstrates this intersection. In this edit, Raisinpie also shows the intersection. Dunkmack9 and his socks have shown an attraction to articles about the East Bay of San Francisco, especially about Oakland, Kensington,[1] Berkeley,[2] Richmond,[3] etc. Raisinpie shares this local viewpoint.
