Suspected sockpuppets

Both accounts made disruptive edits on the article Chandra Nandini (check history) and the second account was made the day after the first account was blocked and then started editing Chandra Nandini. The second account made only 1 edit so far which was on Chandra Nandini. Thanks. TheNewSMG (talk) 21:25, 11 August 2017 (UTC)[reply]

An IP address called 117.193.85.42 recently made an edit to Chandra Nandini (check the history) which was nearly the same edit that the sockmaster made the other day. This IP is definetly operated by User:Snowsleeping. Again, this is the only edit made by this IP so far. TheNewSMG (talk) 15:22, 12 August 2017 (UTC)[reply]

One day after the block expired, User:Snowsleeping made an edit recently now in which he blanked out the page and instead put a portion of the article Chandra Nandini onto it. I suspect that the user did this just so he could get away with his sockpuppetry. He also tried to just blank this case but edit filter stopped him. As of today, Snowsleeping tried to close the case (check the history) right after I requested CU possibly since he knows that if a clerk endorses my request and a CU takes a look at the case and connects his IP with the 2 the other users, he will get blocked. I reverted him 2 times and left a warning at his talk page. I am 100% sure that the 2 accounts are socks. TheNewSMG (talk) 13:35, 18 August 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Jpgordon is lying. He accuses ME of sock puppetry without proper evidence and then blocks my account. In order to suspect sock puppetry you need a lot of proper evidence not just say you believe I am the sock master. @Deskana: Personally I see a behavioural overlap rather than one which can be shown in diffs. Snowsleeping was registered at 18:44, 10 August 2017 and began making disruptive edits (edit warring this point). Snowsleeping was then blocked at 19:39, 10 August 2017 for 48 hours. During this block, Akash Aman akku was created (13:34, 11 August 2017) and made their only edit (a copy/paste replacement) to Chandra Nandini. Since the block on Snowsleeping has elapsed, Akash Aman akku has not edited. I personally believe this to be sufficient behavioural evidence to warrant a check per policy -- There'sNoTime (to explain) 13:15, 19 August 2017 (UTC)[reply]

  •  Clerk declined - this is quite a mess. It was closed by GAB two weeks ago but one of the sockpuppets reopened it. I have blocked Akash Aman akku, Snowsleeping admitted elsewhere that they wanted to "destroy" the Chandra Nandini article by replacing its contents with a periodic table, which is AAa's only edit. As it seems that was the last loose end to tie up here, this case is closed. Please do not re-open this case; file a new case if there is new evidence.
