Economic Geography is a geographic study of the production, consumption and exchange of goods by people throughout the world, natural environment, and culture. This course will have students work as a team to embed foundations of economic geography theory, relevant real-wold artifacts, and geospatial resources such as links to interactive maps and spatial resources. Students will complete readings related to the impact of Wikipedia on economic geography, discuss Wikipedia and other new media resources, and the economics of living in a connected world.
