The parameters for this template are:

|1= The radical form of the word. This parameter defaults to the page name, so can be omitted when the template is used in the entry for the radical form.

|soft= Override the automatically-generated soft mutation; if this is different to what would be expected, it will be marked as irregular. If the term does not undergo the soft mutation, the override unchanged can be specified with |soft=-.

|nasal= Override the automatically-generated nasal mutation; if this is different to what would be expected, it will be marked as irregular. If the term does not undergo the nasal mutation, the override unchanged can be specified with |nasal=-.

|aspirate= Override the automatically-generated aspirate mutation; if this is different to what would be expected, it will be marked as irregular. If the term does not undergo the aspirate mutation, the override unchanged can be specified with |aspirate=-.

|nocat= If set to a true value, e.g |nocat=1, then the resulting table will not contain any page categories. If left default or set to a false value then categories may get set, for example Welsh terms with irregular mutation in the case of mutation tables with at least one irregular value.
