Declension templates
[edit]The Zazaki declension templates you made aren’t working. Please fix them (or you can ask for help here) before adding them to entries. — Ungoliant (Falai) 14:42, 28 October 2013 (UTC)
Hi, is the Zazaki word dar really pronounced [dːrʃ], with a long [d], no vowel, and an unspelled [ʃ] at the end? Also, the {{zza-noun}}
in the entry isn't happy yet because it doesn't have a parameter 1. —Aɴɢʀ (talk) 13:25, 24 November 2013 (UTC)
Zazaki
[edit]Hi. Thank you for your attention to Zazaki, but you're making too many mistakes. Where is the definition of pezwang? Is pag really a dialectal word borrowed from Armenian բակ (bak) or you simply copied the Turkish entry and kept its info, non-applicable to the Zazaki word. Zazaki and Turkish are not related/similar, yet template {{zza-noun}}
is modeled on {{tr-noun}}
, with parameters like “definite accusative” and “plural”, which you usually leave empty, as in poç. --Vahag (talk) 16:23, 12 January 2014 (UTC)
- Armenian words are used in our geography.We will add many more Armenian origin words.--Marmase (talk) 17:05, 14 January 2014 (UTC)
- I know there are Armenian words in Zazaki. Most Zazas live in historical Armenia after all. And I am grateful for your contributions, but please pay attention to formatting. For starters 1) What does pezwang mean? 2) Is there a definite accusative case in Zazaki or just accusative. --Vahag (talk) 17:35, 14 January 2014 (UTC)
- PS Let's keep the conversation in one place, your page. --Vahag (talk) 17:55, 14 January 2014 (UTC)
- yes of course.pezwang=pimp, procurer, souteneur --Marmase (talk) 18:00, 14 January 2014 (UTC)
- Suffixes -vank -vang -wank -wang are the Armeniana words originated.--Marmase (talk) 18:05, 14 January 2014 (UTC)
- Are you saying -wang is Armenian? I do not recognize it. pez- part is similar to բոզ (boz, “prostitute”). PS Only English words get full entries with definitions and translations. Words in other languages should be defined like this. --Vahag (talk) 18:34, 14 January 2014 (UTC)
- veng is probably related to վանկ (vank). Do you speak Zazaki or are you using some source? --Vahag (talk) 18:51, 14 January 2014 (UTC)
You are making TOO many mistakes and I am growing impatient with you. Please slow down and look at the changes I made to your contributions. --Vahag (talk) 08:55, 17 June 2014 (UTC)
- I have blocked you for 3 days for inserting gibberish, namely content copied from other pages that have nothing to do with Zazaki. Please read the links posted in the section A Belated Welcome to understand how Wiktionary is organized. --Vahag (talk) 10:43, 30 August 2014 (UTC)
A Belated Welcome
[edit]Welcome
[edit]Hello, welcome to Wiktionary, and thank you for your contributions so far.
If you are unfamiliar with wiki-editing, take a look at Help:How to edit a page. It is a concise list of technical guidelines to the wiki format we use here: how to, for example, make text boldfaced or create hyperlinks. Feel free to practice in the sandbox. If you would like a slower introduction we have a short tutorial.
These links may help you familiarize yourself with Wiktionary:
- Entry layout (EL) is a detailed policy on Wiktionary's page formatting; all entries must conform to it. The easiest way to start off is to copy the contents of an existing same-language entry, and then adapt it to fit the entry you are creating.
- Check out Language considerations to find out more about how to edit for a particular language.
- Our Criteria for Inclusion (CFI) defines exactly which words can be added to Wiktionary; the most important part is that Wiktionary only accepts words that have been in somewhat widespread use over the course of at least a year, and citations that demonstrate usage can be asked for when there is doubt.
- If you already have some experience with editing our sister project Wikipedia, then you may find our guide for Wikipedia users useful.
- If you have any questions, bring them to Wiktionary:Information desk or ask me on my talk page.
- Whenever commenting on any discussion page, please sign your posts with four tildes (
~~~~
) which automatically produces your username and timestamp. - You are encouraged to add a BabelBox to your userpage to indicate your self-assessed knowledge of languages.
Enjoy your stay at Wiktionary!
You seem to be editing in good faith, so I thought you could use the information in our welcome template to help you get things right. Thanks! Chuck Entz (talk) 00:32, 25 January 2014 (UTC)
fa-regional
[edit]Hello. Thank you for all your work with Zazaki. However, please do not use the {{fa-regional}} template in Zazaki entries. It is for Persian language only. --Dijan (talk) 17:30, 11 March 2014 (UTC)
