[edit]From Proto-Albanian *ðámba-, from Pre-Proto-Albanian *j́amba-, from Proto-Indo-European *ǵómbʰos (“tooth, peg”) (compare English comb, Greek γομφίος (gomfíos, “molar”), Serbo-Croatian zȗb (“tooth”)).[2][3]
