6.2 Partida
6.2 Start Up
PRESSURE Air compressors are oil lubricated equipment, air-cooled and belt driven by an electric motor. The
compressors can be on base or artesian pressure vessels / air reservoirs (02).
1.3 Funcionamiento
1.3 Operation
7 - Mantenimiento
7 - Maintenance
The electrical energy supplied to the electric motor (03) is transformed into mechanical energy being transmitted to
the compressor unit (01) through (s) belt (s) (12). That energy moves the rods which in turn drives the pistons
compress the air stored in cylinders. Next, the compressed air is routed through the serpentine (10) being stored in
the air reservoir (02). Operation load: While working pressure is less than the maximum (120 * / 140 ** / 175 *** lbf /
in. ), the compressor unit pressurizes the air reservoir pressure to the limit set in the factory. Immediately after the
compressor shuts off automatically via the switch (automatic) (04). Recharge Operation:
When the pressure decreases to the pressure reservoir recharge (80 * / 100 ** / 125 *** lbf / in. ), the compressor
will automatically run up to the maximum working pressure.
11

- Check the oil level before starting. After the stop, drain condensate reservoir.
- Check the occurrence of possible losses at the joints, valves, fittings and pipes. These occurrences are possible due to the type of
construction of all piston compressors to provide a natural vibration. This commitment can occur in the setting torque original factory
bolts and connections.

WARNING: Never use pressure greater than 40 psi.
- Clean the screen saver strap, make clean the outside of the compressor unit, as the accumulation of debris on its surface can form an
insulating layer harming normal heat dissipation, resulting in decreased performance.
cigeal y motor.
- Check the belt tension and alignment of the motor pulley relative to the compressor wheel, because when installed improperly can cause
vibrations burst the belt, in addition to compromising the life of the bearings, bearings, crankshaft and motor.
