I.4 vṛtti-sārūpyam itaratra ||1.4||
Otherwise, at other times, [the seer] is absorbed in the changing

4
In him, the seed of omniscience is unsurpassed.

These disturbances are disease, idleness, doubt, carelessness, sloth,
lack of detachment, misapprehension, failure to attain a base for concentration,
and instability. They are distractions for the mind.

perturbaciones.

citta-prasādanam ||1.33||
By cultivating an attitude of friendship toward those who are happy,
compassion toward those in distress; joy toward those who are virtuous,
and equanimity toward those who are non- virtuous, lucidity arises
in the mind.
I.39yathābhimata-dhyānād vā ||1.39||
Or [steadiness of the mind is attained] from meditation upon anything
of one’s inclination.
6
manera.
7
I.45 sūkṣma-viṣayatvaṃ cāliṅga-paryavasānam ||1.45||
The subtle nature of things extends all the way up to prakrti.
10
These [the type of birth, span of life, and life experience] bear the
fruits of pleasure and pain, as a result of [the performance of] virtue
and vice.
purusas.
12
II.27 asya saptadhā prānta-bhūmiḥ prajñā ||2.27||
The yogı’s true insight has seven ultimate stages.
(Estos yamas) s on considerados los grandes votos. No están condicionados por clase,
lugar, tiempo o circunstancia.
a Dios.
13
14
By cleanliness, one [develops] distaste for one’s body and the cessation
of contact with others.
establece.

II.47 p
Such posture should be attained] by the relaxation of effort and by
absorption in the infinite.
infinito).

II.48 t ato dvandvānabhighātaḥ ||2.48||
From this, one is not afflicted by the dualities of the opposites.
16
From this comes the highest control of the senses.
