Lankide eztabaida:Jeppiz
Ongi etorri, Jeppiz, euskarazko Wikipediara! Hau zure eztabaida orria da, beste wikilarien mezuak jasotzeko balioko dizuna. Gainera, lankide orria ere baduzu; nahi izanez gero, hor jar ditzakezu zeure datuak, interesak, hitz egiten dituzun hizkuntzak... (zeure lankide orria egiteko informazioa nahi baduzu, ikus orrialde hau). Nahi baduzu ere zure proba orrian idazten has zaitezke. Lagungarriak izan daitezkeen loturak
Wikipedian laguntzeko modu ugari daude. Horietako batzuk Wikipedian nola lagundu dezakezun argitzen duen orrian bildu ditugu. Artikulu jakin batez ohar edo iradokizunen bat egiteko, artikulu horren eztabaida orrian idatz dezakezu. Wikipediari buruzko galdera, ohar edo iradokizun orokorra baldin bada, berriz, Wikipediako Txokoa duzu horretarako toki egokiena. Eta hainbat Wikiproiektu ditugu, gai jakin batzuetan parte hartzen lagunduko dizutenak. Wikilari jakin bati idazteko edo erantzuteko, haren eztabaida orrian idatzi beharko duzu. Bestela, ez zaio mezu bat duela jakinarazteko oharra azalduko, eta agian ez da konturatuko idatzi diozula. Eztabaida orriaren goialdean «Gehitu atala» lotura aurkituko duzu. Hor klik eginez, mezua sortzeko aukera izango duzu. Mesedez, ez zaitez ahaztu mezuaren bukaeran zure erabiltzaile sinadura edo zigilua ezartzeaz; bestela, ezingo dugu jakin nork idatzi duen, nori erantzun behar diogun.

Hi Jeppiz
[aldatu iturburu kodea]Kaixo, Jeppiz!
Despite my rusty english, I'll try to explain you the reason of why I've deleted your edits. Hope you understand it :P
I must say that in basque wikipedia there is no standard to follow in these cases. Then, as I'm the most active (and practically the only one) user creating and editing finnish municipalities, I decided to "create" my own principles (but, I think they are quite coherents):
1. I follow what The Basque Language Academy has decided. But, this Academy (Euskaltzaindia) has regulated the "basque" name of only one municipality in Finland: Helsinki. It's easy to undestard, because Finland and the Basque Country haven't had much contact with each other in History; so, there is no enough tradition to justify other decisions.
2. Then starts my own standard:
- The official name of the article is the name of the most spoken language in the municipality: Kristinestad, Turku, Enontekiö... But, all the official names are valid in basque, because there is no reason to take one and throw away the other ones. So, it's possible and correct to use Kristinestad or Kristiinankaupunki, Turku or Åbo, Enontekiö or Eanodat in basque.
- In this way (every name has the same validity in basque), all entries will start with all the possible names: Turku or Åbo is a finnish city.... Eanodat or Enontekiö is a finnish municipality... If there are different names of the municipality, but are not official, these ones they would go between parenthesis (see, Inari: Aanaar, Aanar, Anár edo Inari (suedieraz, Enare) Lappi eskualdearen iparraldean dagoen udalerria da).
- Why I decided to put Kristiinankaupunki before Kristinestad? Just because the alphabetical order. I've put Eanodat before Enontekiö (and the most spoken language is finnish), I've put Borgå before Porvoo (and the most spoken language is finnish). I've decided to follow the alphabetical order, so that the most vulnerable or the minority language (like sami languages) won't be hurt and has more visibility (or would have the option to have more visibility).
Like there is no any principle to follow in basque language (unfortunately), I think that the best way is this one. Hope you understand and share it. If you have any question, write me! No problem! :)
